The only problem with zeiss flash mirror on photofusion lens is they dont have ar coating in the back of the lens so the reflection is crazy when you are in door. This essilor combination makes more sense than zeiss
Both Essilor Style Mirrors and Zeiss Flash Mirrors have rear surface anti-glare - Standard

Do you work in the Optical Center height in addition to the PD if the customer provides it? I'm a -6.50 and my Ocular Center height has to be PRECISE or I'm screwed.

can you do this to a zeiss lense ? without effecting their factory ar coating?
I cannot. It would ruin the coating due to the heat of the tint liquid.

Does this coating have that blueish green tint ( even at an angle or in light ) or is it full all green Also I have new lenses and frames when I put my glasses on I can see my own eyes why is that?
Green tint - Not bluish... Where did you get your lenses? Are they flash mirrors - or sunglass mirrors? Do you have rear surface anti-glare?
Just got new glasses today. They came polished. Never again. The glare is almost making me cross eyed.
And the worst part is they probably didn't ask if you wanted it. Find out what their remake policy is and ask them to do it without polished edges. If they will, ask them to also notate your file to never do it again.

Question: if we do a photofusion X with a blue or any Zeiss flash coating, does it also have anti reflective coating behind the lens to reduce glare or strain to the eye?
Good question! Yes is the answer with PhotoFusion X colors and Zeiss Flash Mirrors have DuraVision Sun rear surface anti-glare.
You're able to dissamble the lenses that came with the rayban hawkaye? It looks to me like it's a one piece. Hm.
Most of the time we have to break the lenses. In this particular case we were able to get them out in one piece.

I just got my lenses done by Dita's in house lab. I have Sapphire photochromic, i thought they would be blue like the Ziess but they are actually dark grey like the crizal. Your video helped me see the difference!

Is it okay to heat the bridge to widen if smidge or is it not made for that?
I was told not to use heat on this frame because the risk of damaging the electronics inside. It is OK to do on any other frame.
Looking to order, but can’t decide between Zeiss Photofusion X flash or Transitions Xtractive flash.
One thing to keep in mind is that Essilor only does style mirrors (flash mirrors) in certain lens materials. You can email us your prescription at [email protected]

Is it possible to get photofusion lens without the blue light filter? I read that it comes with it but I don't like the blue hue it gives off
All Zeiss PhotoFusion X come with Zeiss BlueGuard which has NO BLUE HUE. The Blue Hue you see is if it has DuraVision Platinum Anti-Glare or Blue Flash Mirrors. If you have more questions you are welcome to email us at [email protected]. Thanks for your question - hope this helps!

I hate them. I've been wearing them for 4 weeks and just switched to bifocals yesterday. I hate those too, tbh. I was a Lasik patient where they made a significant mistake, making me farsighted.... not presbyopic... farsighted. I went from single near sighted vision to +1.0 overcorrected vision. They want to fix their mistake, but I don't trust them... for 1. their huge mistake, and for 2. They lied and took advantage of my lack of knowledge. Despicable. I hate this whole thing.

I had recently made the rimless eyeglasses and use the crizal Sapphire lens but my optician has given me the polished edges of my lenses so it is bothering me due to player and reflection at the ages of the lenses so what can I do should I go to optician is it able to fix it properly by grinding or doing some work on the ages of the lenses. Please reply
Yes they might be able to roughen up the edges to get rid of the shiny polished edges

How do you determine fitting height without the patient present?
Good question. 3 below the geometric center for flat tops, 3 above for progressives and 2 above for single vision.
These adjusted just fine after a couple days. Its been cloudy/ rain here in Texas for the past month FYI and now its nice an sunny, these tran's great. I will say I LOVE LOVE these frames and the lens choice but ....................Still a Zeiss fan boy 🙂 Thanks to JigSaw /See Mo for another great pair of glasses. They can fill any request and any Rx when other labs/ clinics say " we can't " they Can! Two thumbs WAY up
I was Essilor for the first 20 years of my career. It's a good lens but it was the only option I had when I worked for others. But when I went out on my own and could choose from other lens brands, I'm with you, Zeiss all the way. My lab equipment is Essilor. Its like trying to choose between BMW and Mercedes. You can't go wrong with either quality. But those Zeiss Photofusion blue lenses are a hard act to follow. I love mine, my wife wears them and I love seeing how blue they are on her. I am intrigued by the new Transitions S in red. I haven't seen those yet. Why dont you order a pair, lol? Hi!!!! I got the prescription smart AI RayBan glasses that are SUPPOSED to transition but just tint! I know the lenses can be popped out and replaced. Is there any way YOU can make me transitional prescription lenses and replace them with these terrible ones? I live in Florida and NEED dark transitioning glasses
