They allow eye gouging, head kicks when a guy is down, smashing the head into the concrete. A little too much for me. I enjoy the controlled environments more. You have a better chance of seeing a good fighter. In these, you just need a bad fall, and you lose a good fighter to some big brawny dipshit.

The only rule should be to be only stand up as soon as they go to the ground stand it up again, that will cut back on the eye gouging and chokes which make for a boring fight
