I've had a string of toxic, one sided relationships that I held onto for far too long and gave far too much to keep because I have extreme fear of abandonment due to BPD. In the last few years I've been doing a lot of self reflection and healing. Listening to this song on repeat has helped me with that. It reminds me that I need to stop mending bridges that need to be burned.

I was at an against me! show with my girlfriend. she was dancing and I wasn’t cause I wasn’t able to drink, I was on probation, and I remember distinctly seeing the guitar player give me this look like “come on man get with the groove!” I guess the point is… for the record Against Me! is one of my favorite bands of all time…just want the guitar player and my Ex girlfriend to know that 😉….All this and more to forget…
