  La mia prima festa è stata nel 2000 a Torino, non conoscevo le feste ci sono finito per caso. Ho visto una bolgia di gente, camper e auto in coda in strada non capivo, sono andata a ballare in disco, esco e faccio la strada per tornare a casa, vedo un botto di gente e mi sono fermato, sento il suono delle casse, erano Francesi, mi fermo parcheggio e vedo una grande festa, una marea di gente che ballava, alle 6 del mattino.... quando il popolo dormiva. Bhe, ho subito capito che quello era diventato qualcosa che faceva parte di me. Da quel momento non sono più andato in discoteca, avevo trovato qlc che veramente mi faceva sentire vivo, LE FESTE, il movimento che girava intorno. Troppo bello, poi ho avuto il piacere di conoscerti di persona, sei troppo un GRANDE e tutte le feste che ho fatto devo ringraziare solo te, il tuo sito mi ha fatto fare molte serate. Adesso a malincuore non trovo più una festa non so come fare. Il tuo sito nn è mai stato più aggiornato dal qui maledetto giorno in cui la pandemia è arrivata. Peccato però ancora oggi ti ringrazio di tutto quello che hai fatto. Mi hai fatto vivere una bellissima giovinezza. Tutti i tuoi sono ancora qui con me. Grazie 1000 SHOCKRAVER.

  Completamente d’accordo.. ti ho sentito suonare in un party anni fa vicino a Reggio in /cantina/ con 2 colonne e poca m bella gente c’è stato e tu hai fatto magie .. graz🎉🎉🎉🎉

  La frenchcore per l'esperienza delle generazioni che ho vissuto ha rovinato i party facendo avvicinare un'altra scena alle feste che qui in Italia aveva un determinato lato politico. Durante quella wave visto sempre cose brutte, devo dire che mi ha temprato, però non era un bel mood e dopo un po' sti pezzi mainstream erano sempre quelli ed essendo un genere di massa era fatto con lo stampino perche doveva essere fatto così per andare. Poi col digitale e con appunto le feste è arrivata un po' di sperimentazione pure li con dentro sonorità più tekno. Per il resto di sto genere adoro solo Hellfish ma piu per le sue influenze breakcore, per me Randy909 come marchio mi significa solo localate overprezzate nei locali di punta Milanesi. Sinceramente non belle vibes.

  Avrei voluto sapere da lui qualcosa di piu sulla leggendaria fuga alla sua decade, non perché gli voglio puntare il dito, anche perché ci ho interagito piu volte e non mi sembra una cattiva persona, pero sarebbe stata l'occasione giusta per chiarire la faccenda.

  Ha ragione su quasi tutto, tra l'altro ha tralasciato che per poter organizzare un party gratuito per tutti si può benissimo sfruttare i soldi tirati su al club, magari facendo anche service se è uno di quelli sfigati con l'impianto del cazzo. Noi ci si era trovati un locale che ci dava 250 euro per un sabato sera a suonare in 3 portando due colonne nostre, direi che ci stava, però erano pure altri tempi.

  I do think Castlemorton was the nail in the coffin though, it could have carried on much longer - but it was way too big. the establishment realised being heavy handed never really worked, so they let it happen and the media did the rest, with a ridiculous amount of coverage. Then with enough outrage, it led directly to the passing of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act and millions pumped into the police and draconian surveillance. i was at castlemorton and the amount of punters was off the scale - crapping wherever and dropping trash, everyone can't join the party - because they are clueless and thats what shuts it down, evertytime.

  Awesome interview! I'm still wondering how the f did you get the jet to Europe 😂. My first experience was Hostomice 95 Czech Republic then every year until 2005. My heart will always be in tekno scene. ❤ I do agree with donations as I know people that went bankrupt because they tried to give people free party.

Already as a child I was unconsciously fascinated by his style and his incredible allusive name, obviously by his music. Thank you for introducing me to "the man" behind it, who I had never had the chance to meet at parties or in clubs. As I expected, an awareness, a daimon for the taz, free parties that is almost inexplicable in words but which can be read in their eyes and in their certainty in affirming that the Movement was strong and full of expressiveness, research and sharing of his own daimon shouting WAKE UP! I was born in '97 when, already with 2 speakers and a strobe, SP were simply spreading the concept of being together and having fun according to a profile of personal growth and redemption. Great!   castle Morton and loads of previous parties . then came Acton lane where the old bill came through the wall with a JCB. i was in the main area where they battered the crap out of every one . 400 riot police with one intent and that was to beat down the rebellious spirit of those people enjoying their freedom .The powers that be were frightened of what they saw as a direct threat to the establishment

  Mi ricordo quando shockraver fu messo online, venendo da quel mondo ultra underground ,in molti pensammo : Sarà giusto oppure sbagliato? Venendo dai vecchi flyers,solo chi era dell' ambiente rave poteva avere info sulla festa. Insomma ,prima o poi questo si sarebbe ritorto contro ai free party, effettivamente dopo qualche anno andò così. Io in quel periodo non frequentavo più, ma i ragazzi piu giovani cresciuti con noi mi riportavano di sgomberi a tutt'andare. Era ovvio a tutti prima o poi avrebbero rotto le palle ad oltranza, qualche rara volta era pure già successo ma, in qualche modo la festa continuava (accordi con chi di dovere, mettiamola così). E va boh, sono passati venti e piu anni da allora, non so come sia oggi la situazione anche se presumi pessima per i nuovi giovani.
