    looking through the comments, I'm curious, do you go to bars or restaurants with a bar? Do you carry when you drink? please only answer if your going to be honest. I ask as I am considering carrying but even though I live in a constitutional carry state, there are very view places I can carry a gun legally. it just seems like it would be a hassle to get in the car, lock it up. Can't carry in the court house or bar, most restaurants, Costco, really the only place i go that allows it is the hardware store or the gun shop (ironically not allowed to carry loaded). Not arguing for or against but if I'm going to carry legally, it just doesn’t seem to be worth it if it sits in my vehicle locked up.

  • @chasepalagi7675
    @chasepalagi76753 ай бұрын

    I will say I am someone who believes that if I planned on carrying 80% of the time, I wouldn't carry at all. I don't really go to bars anymore, and I drink on pretty rare occasions these days. So, fortunately, I don't have that particular hurtle. I go through the drive thru when I bank, as to not complicate things. That being said, everyone has they're own philosophy on when to carry. I find it strange that they try to prohibit people from carrying in all of the places that you would naturally want to be carrying. Though if you are going out to drink, It is probably a good idea to leave it in your vehicle. To paint a fuller picture, I literally have pants set up with my at home edc, including a different, smaller pistol for around the house. I hope that helps.

You handled yourself very well, considering the way the ir people basically publically embarrassed you, then interrogated you! Seems to me if you had CCW, are or were a member, know the head of their security team and the pastor, that they were Way out of line! BTW, are any of the "Security team" armed? If not, what were they going to do if you if you started shooting? I think the pastor should invite you back, call all of them up in front of the congregation, and have them publically apologise to you! Some further training seems called for also! Blsgs. I bought one at Kmart in the early seventies. Went to the country took it out of the box and put the 4 power scope on that came with it. Thought I would have to zero it in, wrong. Lay prone on the ground and used a log as a rest. Shot around six shots at about 35 yards. My buddy and I could not believe the results. All shots were in the 1 inch center square of the target. I don't believe you could ever find a straighter shooting rifle. Had some hard times and sold it along with my mossberg 12 Guage shotgun. Would give almost anything to have them back.

    @@chasepalagi7675 Hey man, I'm not really busting your balls. I mainly wanted to see what the forearm/handguard mod looked like on a Gen 1 sub 2000 which is what I have and bought brand new about 8 years ago. However, I have custom built/modified over 30 firearms and reloaded ammunition for personal loads/friends throughout the years. When your hobby involves that much time refining and upgrading weapons, your eyes scan and immediately pick up on things that look off or out of place. Then, you have no choice but to question if the person that created the mistake even knows it is wrong. I mean technically, you can bolt a tire onto a vehicle backwards and it will still work, but it will look extremely out of place compared to the other tires and will not be able to handle the forces the others will be able to handle. Your video showed me the upgrade on the weapon which is what I wanted in the first place.

If you are talking about me personally, I conceal the compact more for some reason. I just took the the sub compact out the other day and was wondering why I don't just conceal it exclusively. If you are thinking of conceal carrying at all, you'd be MUCH better off going with The subcompact.
