    I know this is an older video, but damn! It’s the perfect tutorial!!! My complements to Bead Spider for your extremely thorough explanation, with a lovely soothing voice! You’ve completely switched me to this method versus the tool! So much more “zen” to make, and a wildly huge improvement in structure, strength, and flexibility! I am of course using silk, yet if possible you’re still paying attention to this thread, or anyone that sees this with an answer! I love doing extremely long knotted projects with faceted small mm gemstones or rounds, yet with this method I assume I must just use the spool silk and follow the same steps, yet how would I best judge how much silk that I would use? Double or maybe triple the length of the beads on the hank, or the pattern I’ve chosen! Again many thanks for this fabulous lesson in proper knotting!

    I find that every time I watch a tutorial with 2 needles I keep getting confused as to which needle is being used especially if the tutors hands go out of shot. Wouldn’t it be great if 2 different colour needles were used so one could follow more easily. Just a thought ❤️

    Bonjour.

  • @beadspider
    @beadspider15 күн бұрын

    @@aki-chan0125 no you don’t use glue The tube is a close fit around the pen and doesn’t move However it is easy to slide off when you unscrew the pen. That way you can refill the pen or change the beaded tube if you have more 😊

    I think yours is my favorite tutorial on this, thank you so much. It's also worth saying that you can pre-stretch the silk cord so it doesn't sag over time, or get it wet and hang it with weights and leave it overnight to dry. :)
