Also tell me were you able to use seamlessly even 40% of top 50 apps absolutely necessary for today (like WhatsApp, payment methods, web browser, KZread, mail etc). I will wait for your reply. Please don't justify anything stupid in the name of Old is Gold. There is a life for every technology. Everything gets useless one day .

  Well, I have the iphone 5s. Now it is lying in a drawer with its 2013. Memories. It has died now. As much as I tried to jump it with my computer and bring it back to life it is not coming back. Even if it did, the phone now is from today’s standars really slow. Are phones demand so much tasks these days and so the ventiage 5s is now either dead or slow. I do still have mine. I had to replace it with the iphone 13. I kept the 5s cause it introduced touch I.D. And it was the first phone as a blind individual that I ever texted on. That phone turned my independants completly around. But I would say what ever you do just don’t buy this as a main phone. It is not going to work and keep up these days. Now when the 5s was new it was like a child running fast. It felt so snappy and you cuold down load apps like you wouldn’t believe. The updates and the O.G. Update I.O.S.7 was snappy cause that was the O.G. Update that that phone had. I think the 5s left on 12.5.7 and those were some security updates. The 13 came into my life workig along side the big iphone 14 plus. Both phones are modern and have face I.D. But I still will keep that 5s. I have yet to try to bring it back again. I will try every now and then. The cim card is still in it. But it is now deactivated. Now the iphone 13 has both a cim tray and digital E. Cim. I chose to juse the 13 on ecim cause the primary iphone just works on e. Cim. But I would highly recommend not getting this phone if you are expecting to try and use it. It does not support apps now. Most of the apps don’t work on it or even if they do they complain for updates but then it tells you to download an older version of the app. This is how old this phone is. As I stated. To get the phone to have just for a memory is fine. But trying to use it for daily tasks is impossible. You have to jjust use modern day phones now. The iphone 5s now is a vintage phone. It is not modern at all. But it sure does have that 2013 vibe of course cause that is what year that phone was. I changed the battery case I used on it to have a bit more modern case but it was a case that would fit the iphone S.E. First Jen when it came out. The orriginal battery case for the iphone 5s really was different. It was squared off with a little roudned side and it had a cable that swung out of a little door and you would have to prie it out and then plug the cable into the phone. You would just bring the cable up and out and then insert it. The modern day battery cases just have a button on the back. Their is no little door or cable that is going to swing out. The updated S.E. Case has a button on the back of the case. But that was the most modern thing I did for that old phone… other than that it is a 16 gig iphone. And back in its day you could fill that thing full of apps and you felt like you would never run out of space. I.O.s.7 was not a huge update and that was the iphone’s software orriginally. I do believe now looking forward in time the iphone 13 O.G. Software was I.O.S.15. I do believe. That was an I.O.S. 15 phone. The iphone 5s on its last days of life was kept plugged into a charger. You couldn’t remove the cable without it going dead. But I would highly recoomend not buying this for a daily driver. Just don’t do it. You will feel pain after using it cause it is so slwo. It is super super slow in today’s world. If you want it for a keep sake for what we used back in 2013, then go ahead cause it has history. But to try and use it for a functional phone it is a pain in the ass hahahahahha. Once it is dead I would just say just leave it to rest. My iphone 5s is resting in peace now. Nothing will ever take over the 5s though. The S.E. Is the modern day version of the 5s. But nothing beats the actual orriginal thing.
