Hello everyone, I'm Max or Mimir on the internet. I play video games for your entertainment. Most of the time I shall be playing indie/roguelike games but if something tickles my fancy or if i get a lot of suggestions to play a AAA game I shall. My goal is to teach, inform and help people; whether that be through long form letsplays in a live stream or a short run of a roguelike. Could be worth it to test what you can and can't block with the axe, also would be could if they added a parry system with the axe!
A parry system would be so cool and really help with some of the frustrations I have with the axe. In the video I will be uploading on monday I do use the block a bit more with the axe and try to weave in the omega specials. It's all a learning experience for me so I will keep your suggestions in mind going forward. Thanks again for the feedback!
Can't wait to see it, and yeah parry system would add so much flavour to the weapon and have interesting implications for possible builds.
I feel like magic recovery could be really powerful with those weapons, the channel costs magic per second for auto aim big damage. Then all you need to worry about is positioning really.
I have been playing around more with channelling/omega abilities so I think now I'm more comfortable with the game I'll give your suggestion a shot!

Yeh it might have been! I switch it up a bit in later videos but for these first few runs the aim was to get as far as I could so the dress with more armour seemed like the better choice at the time
Makes sense, and healing is definitely very valuable for learning runs. It's also really nice that you're testing things! Just giving my thought process for future runs, and apologies if it comes off rude or backseat.
Bit of a late comment but addressing the confusion with Hades and Demeter relationship, Demeter is the mother of Hades' wife. Hades' wife is Persephone!

when you clicked away the bp expansion screen (1st journey) , a button "Level up" appeared in the top line : click that & expand anyway

cool game gonna play fs. great video too, subscribed. btw the swarm robot perk in the first run works, I found a good example at 22:45. its hard to tell a lot of the time because its only a 30% chance and they usually explode instantly.

Makes sense because CotL looked a lot like Don’t Starve, in the way they constructed environments. And that’s good. Games should be inspired by other games.

If you have time locked in as one of your gods, level 1 alteration ritual is always worth taking. They is a skill that can increase rarity of other skills permanently and the small chance is worth 1 level up.

You can select inventory of characters your not currently playing by clicking on their gem just at the top of your inventory screen. Only works not in a stage. But you could’ve equipped all the snowswatch gifts whithout changing toons
Mimic's Dice Gorger scales with the area. In the fist zone it's only one, but in the second and third it's two.

Well played! I do think on the hevelius fight you could have put wave on the smaller sentinels to have it trigger and pass between them thanks to the blessing that passes wave from one enemy to another
You're right I definitely could have done that! However I think (if i remember correctly) that corrupted hevelius has a passive that when one of the sentinels die they come back with 1 extra maximum corruption and then hevelius deals corruption equal to their max corruption. So if I had kept taking out the sentinels I would've had a lot more damage to deal with. Thank you for your support and advice 😄
I think Reduction was your out on the last run maybe? Hard with only one copy but would have saved a life by fetching it

at 2:05:04 your malicous orb [on corrupting a foe purify oracle for 3] saved you from area corrupt 9. You had 1 light shield + area corrupt 9 = 8 corruption. + 3 purify for orb for net 5 corruption
