„time eats all his children in the end“ is actually a Greek mythology metaphor. The titan Cronus who controls time ate his children: Hestia,Demeter,Hera,Hades,Zeus and Poseidon (well he didn’t get to eat Zeus because he tricked his father but yk) :)
