  The deltarune universe seems to work differently so I'm pretty sure boss monsters aren't a thing and all monsters are normal people since we never see anyone use magic outside of dark worlds

  Boss monsters... is the actual name of Asgore's and Toriel's species... and by extension Asriel. So, yeah, they exist. The question would be more on whether they still have that biologic trait of not aging if they don't have a kid. (Boss monster isn't some kind of special power rank you reach in monsterkind, like I think you thought)

  i like to think of the opposite; toriel and asgore slowly realizing they're aging again in undertale's pacifist ending since Flowey was created

  @@fedethegreat88 well after his neutral route fight, Asgore talks about how he wishes he could see Asriel again and believes him to be truly dead and Toriel outright attacks Flowey at the start of the game when he tries to kill Frisk which would be weird behavior for both of them if they knew Flowey was Asriel

  I read the description, and it's really cool to see someone be motivated to make art for their interests. It reminds me of when I was younger and drew anything I was interested in at the time. I haven't drawn anything in years though, and I can barely draw a stick figure anymore. Cool to see others get motivated though.

  Everyone is saying boss monsters only age when their child reaches their age, but this doesn’t make any sense. If a boss monster is born, they won’t have any children of their own and so they will never grow old enough to have any. How could one ever age enough to have children if they need children to age???

  I think it’s the opposite? When a boss monster is born they are able to grow up by sucking away their parents’ magic or something, and that causes the parents to grow old (and possibly die after they child is already an adult imo). Thanks for the comment though! :)

  Boss monsters age up to a certain point (possibly what would be considered adulthood for monsters) then they stop aging until they have a child. When they have one, they continue to age until their inevitable dusting from old age or if their child happens to dust first. This happened in Undertale, which caused both Toriel and Asgore to stop aging and they won't start unless Asriel is reincarnated or they have another child.
