    There are two black, round, foam pieces that come inside the box where the battery is stored. Where do these go? I don't see it addressed in the manual.

    There are two indentations underneath the lid where those fit. They act as cushion between the lid and battery.

    I see grass touching the bottom of the net. Is that not going to be an issue?

  • @premier1supplies
    @premier1suppliesАй бұрын

    The bottom strand of netting is not electrified. We recommend mowing or trampling the grass prior to installation. If grass contact is likely to occur, use a large enough energizer that can power through the grass contact and provide a large enough pulse at the end of the fence line.

    One change to the design since this was recorded is that the valve stem isn’t molded into the bucket. It’s another little plastic threaded part that needs to be installed first.⁣ ⁣ Using this video and the printed instructions, I assembled it, took it apart and carefully assembled it again. The triangle piece and the flow control valve kept falling out each time I tried to put on the base. The plastic threads didn’t want to go together smoothly. Waterer went from leaking very badly to leaking only a little bit. It was cheaper than other options so I was hoping I had a winner. Too bad :( Appreciate you trying to help with this video tho!

    I'm considering buying this or the Solar Stop 80. Does this unit automatically switch to a low power mode without using a switch? Is the solar panel of this one more powerful?

    IntelliShock® electric fence chargers are able to reduce energy demand when the fence’s voltage is high-due to fewer weeds touching the fence. This occurs in fall and winter for most fences, and occurs all year for some horse, cattle and deer fences. As a result, the unit’s battery is more likely to remain charged through the low sunlight days of autumn and winter. www.premier1supplies.com/p/intellishock-100-solar-fence-energizer

    You want an animal to feel a shock when they touch the fence rather than passing them by. By making them part of the pathway to the ground, they receive a shock.

    After posting this comment I got an immediate phone call from Premier One supply company. I had been working for the most part with a representative, from the lac-tek company for at least a year and a half. What I want to say now is once premier knew of the problems that we were having they really took care of it. We cannot be more pleased with the service we got from Premier One.

    These machines are worthless. We had an older machine we use for about three years when we brought two more smaller ones from premier. We have work with a technician at Lex-Tex since we bought them. They have other customers having same problems we are and now say it the computer board which they can’t get from China. We have lost lambs due to these issues and money in nibbles as lambs chew them off when they run out of milk. The amount of money lost is probably more than the cost of the machines. We are done with this company and plan to either negotiate a settlement or take to court. The ball will be in their court.

  • @premier1supplies

    For a Pos/Neg capable fence, that works. We still like to use the ground rod in the event an animal touches only a positive strand, they can still a receive a shock if a ground rod is used.
