Good thing that loud music protected me from the annoying interview audio.
Rum, Sodomy and the Lash still as popular as ever amongst the sailor set.
We always suspected that the UK bourgeoisie were a load of repressed and degenerate pervs, but thanks for the confirmation. Isla is a particular gem.
Diversity = Anything goes and nothing matters. Aleister Crowley approves this message, as does his master the Prince of Lies
Rum, Sodomy and the Lash. ( Drugs, Buttsex and Kink ) has always had an honourable place at sea. lol
It would be really helpful to add to this video how this plays into reversing into a slip. When to start the turn and how to stop it.
ross edgley is the man, way too little views on this, thought the title was fake, lol

The moment they start cackling about carbon emissions, I lose interest 😡
Wishing you smiles through it all.
Dorothy squatted upon the ground and put up her parasol, which nearly covered her and proved a great protection.
No boarding ladder
I never realized just how important the crotch straps on a PFD really are. Yeah they might not be super comfortable or look kind of silly. But it keeps the jacket from riding up. Keeping your head above water is the most important aspect of staying alive! Great video and very informative. Thanks 👍
Thank you Ian and Lily, such a great interview!
The Donoratico in this video is my dad’s! When David mentions ‘Clive’ that’s my dad. He actually named it after me…I had no idea that this video existed 😮
words words::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: where are the pictures ?? ( of speed sailing )
Homework seniors sailing course 2024 Viwed this very helpfull.

So, where is this bike now? Looks very much like KABON from Ali.
@11:00 talk about the leeward tell tail moving up. Due to the boot hull air displacement etc. Nicely thought but incorrect. It’s Bernoulli law that makes air moves upward on the hollow side of the sail. The higher density air likes to move to the top ( tip of a wing) where it likes to compensate for the less density air. This makes a Eddy current on that top. Obviously that’s a disadvantage for smaller jib where the eddy is disturbing the main sail. Needless to say that the tell tail moving up is perfect indicator if any sail is set correctly. Best regards form a aerodynamic specialist. Nice explanation and please keep it up .. it’s helping sailers a lot
Great video but why the stupid bloody loud music?
Point the boat in the right direction and drive it as fast as you can
Hamble school of yachting Needs a Complete Overhaul Not very good anymore.
Use the boat you already own. Exactly. Now i just have to retrieve my Mirror Dinghy from Nova Scotia as I retire from working in NWT.
I want to do this
The video shold have been about 3(three) minutes. longer. It would have been fun to see how they pass each other, and how hard it is to stay on the board.
wind shade them !!!
Roger - you are a great inspiration. I hope to catch up with you some day soon.
so what you are saying is my topper iso and contender are bot out then lol, altough i have had a 2hp seagull outboard on my contender to motor it around to the bay we use to go dingy sailing in as it was the only way i could get it there, as it was a tad windy to sail it, i did pack all my camping stuff on it once and sailed it 5 miles down the cost to go to the local sailing club bbq weekend witch was fun, had to get a tow back though as there was no wind to sail back!!
The boat at 2:55, is that a navigator? Is it a gaff rig main?
💙 together on water 🎉 🇮🇳 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 🇵🇭
It's good to see the killcord attached.
Looks really flimsy to me. Just yesterday I had occasion to sit in my car through a Midwestern rain squall. Several puffs were strong enough to rock the car on its suspension. It was raining so hard (horizontally) that visibility was much decreased by the volume of water in the air. I can't imagine that tent surviving, let alone keeping its occupants dry.
Please show boat instead of yourself
A newbie question please. With all the water pouring in from the now closed gates, should you then leave the opened gates open once you've left the lock?
She wants act as a professor and makes things sound more complicated than what they are. Good pros can explain complicated things in a simple and clear way without fancy words.
I mean i do prefer the Melges 24 over the J70 sailing wise but the cost running the J70 is so much better!! And i hate the rule that you cannot hike properly in the boat
Yes I got a dinghy and im fixing it up at the moment
лазер и так быстрая лодка - зачем ему крылья ?? с таким же успехом можно и оптимист на крыло поставить ))
Alas music completely unnecessary.
Hi ally im thinking of getting a small bout with a small engin can i take it on canal its a blow up boat are there enny requirements needid 👍
I want this
If there could be a larger boat you could tie up to or go into and the main boat was like a ferry for the narrow boats..
