  It’s more a Lasagna cousin, macaroni pie it’s called in the Caribbean, Mac & Cheese with beef elsewhere.. it’s absolutely delicious! 😊

  Just baked it! Waiting for it to cool to try it. Did two versions- with canned milk and soaked raisins in bourbon and stout - just to test difference in taste. Waiting to bite into it- give myself a grade😂😂

  I’ve never used pig tails, only beef. But always a great memory as this was the very first Jamaican dish I ever cooked. My hubby’s grandma Ida taught me. She was so proud of me, I sent her a picture of me with it and until she passed away, that picture was hanging on her fridge door in Jamaica. 🇯🇲🥰
