This trend of cannabis becoming mainstream is not losing any steam. If you think the trend is going to reverse now, you're going to miss out on a lot of upside. The main thing is to have patience and invest in the smartest businesses. CGC has an incredible amount of knowledge internally about scaling the logistics and manufacturing for cannabis, medical devices, foods and beverages and as the largest player they will be the first with the capital to make truly transformational investments and partnerships.
Great interview as always! Kinda dissatisfied with his answer to the hemp bev question though. Anthony asked about beverages not Wana edibles. Really curious if they have tangible plans for them.. it just makes sense 🤷♂️

To be fair, Bruce Linton was very good at "panache" getting things rolling, at hyping up the space and selling the ideas etc. but not too great at managing day to day and some decisions on business direction were too lofty. Enter Mr. Klein part way through 2020, he was given the task of putting out the cash burning fires in what were perceived as good business choices in 2018 like Biosteel, 4 million square feet of grow space etc. but they were anything but. So now Canopy has a much more conservative direction.

@@tonygee5673 I can understand frustration, however, there were a lot of decisions made prior to him joining. The job now though is to push the company forward. This is a year of transition for the company and righting the ship, which we’ve mentioned over the past 6 months in our interviews. They’re not going to say this, but I see the true opportunity here in being CUSA.

@@TheDalesReport when Constellation makes a profit on their 5 billion tranche at 486$ Canadian per share it will prove me wrong and Mr Klein right. Only then will investors truly be recouping all the losses incurred by holding the shares since legalization. We are a long way from there
