  How to replace a thermostat in a gas range but instead of taking the top completely off I bent the thermostat to get it through the hole, then straightened it out, any info on that procedure, does that defect the stat?

  People are going to think they need a powered screwdriver! A great way to crossthread or strip theads. A tip to others, when you swap the wires, do it one at a time onto the new switch, then swap the switches over. Don't just pull them all off and hope for the best. Another tip, take a photo so you know what it looked like - just in case.

  Hi, happened to come across your video after watching soo many repair videos. Only yours matches with the shaft assembly on the back of my condenser dryer. It looks very similar. My dryer is a Haier HDY-D70 condenser dryer and the there's a squealing noise coming from the drum shaft area. I'm not sure how to replace the bearing and can't source the shaft. I can source the bearing. Will the bearing be located on the outside casing of the dryer just like in your video? Will i just be able to easily only replace the bearing or will i have to take the entire dryer apart to replace the shaft as well?? Thanks

  many thanks for the video. I was able to locate the bearing at the back which was exactly in the same location as shown in the dryer in your video. You're the man.
