  Although 'Mort' does mean death in latin, he didn't call him or said 'Mort', he said "hasta la muerte" which is Spanish for "til death"

  FUN FACT: the success of the series caused a film to be in the works but the crew believed the series was a perfect part of the madagascar universe so they ended up cancelling the film 😊

  What I love about Dreamworks is that even though they subvert things constantly, they still honor classic stories. They have plenty of stinkers, but also lots of genuinely fantastic films. Although my favorite Dreamworks movies are HTTYD and KFP, which are just fantastic dramas.

  Wouldn't quite say pure force of nature. At least not completely since hes running around with mortals and messing with king Juliette. (I think he's bored here) Death in a twist of irony values life so when you get someone that shows no value or respect for it I'm not surprised he desides to do things personally. I also wouldn't bank on him teaching boots a lesson nor would I put it past him. When we are facing the absolute we tend to show are true nature. Death is the whiteness, the guide, and judge of your soul but not it's reaper. Boots had not cheated death in the end past the quirk of being a cat. Had he managed to make the wish his fate would have truly been sealed because not he has truly cheated and death would claim his soul. But death should not reap.

  As a kid I didn't think much about Bambi, it was fine but I'd much rather watch The Lion King or Peter Pan. 25 years later I simply can't get enough of this movie, it's really good.

  I think Death didn't exist until the last fight. What i mean is, the first interaction between him and puss is in the bar when puss start to have a life crisis( he start to realize he gonna die) he start to panic attack and subconsciously he put a mental image (aka the Wolf Death). Every time he start to feel danger, he start to see him, a little when he narrow escape the arrow(so he remind himself of death), after when he flee the battle to end up in the forest he start to have a big panic attack(aka fear of dying) he saw a lot image of the wolf but when perrito come he start to relief his fear (so no more wolf). Later when in the crystal room Death appear when puss start to understand he gonna have a life of fear. The only moment Death became real is when puss do have the wishing scroll he subconsciously make the wish i want to conquer fear and that why death come from the wishing star's energy and go back to it when the fight is over and puss conquer his fear

  This is very much in line with Death's depiction in Godfather Death. He is willing to forgive, but not willing to forget. He let his godson pass away when he cheated him a second time-evidently Puss has cheated Death far more times and thus he has come for what is his since Puss effectively renounced it with how he lived his life. Only when Puss actually respected Death did he regain it because he did not try to cheat Death again.
