Where can I get this DVD?
@Hamboarding Жыл бұрын
You had to preorder it back in the day before he started his 1 song in each month program. He also made music videos for each of the songs. You got each new song as a download as it was released, access to the music videos and in the end you got the album „Doesn't play well with others“ as a package of a vinyl record & CD of the songs plus this DVD (I'd have to check if all the music videos are also on there). „Doesn't play well with others“ was then re-released with a different cover (and I believe only on CD but I might be wrong there) and without the DVD. So I think you have to get a used copy of the original prerelease version in which the CD and DVD were packed together in a gatefold.

It's this version, which was packaged together with the vinyl with the same cover for the people who preordered: www.discogs.com/release/12332859-Joey-Cape-Doesnt-Play-Well-With-Others

The Punk Rock folk singer probably started with Joe Strummer(the Clash) and Paul Weller(The Jam), then that was followed by the likes of Paul Westerberg(Replacements), Bob Mould, Grant Hart(both of Husker Du), and John Doe(X). I have since been fortunate enough to see and play with Kevin Seconds(Seven Seconds), Chad Price(ALL), Jon Snodgrass(Armchair Martian), Lenny Lashley(Darkbuster, Street Dogs), Scott Reynolds(ALL), Kepi Ghoulie(Groovy Ghoulies) doing their punk rock Troubadour things. It gave me confidence to my thing and let me know that I wasn't alone though I was never remotely as famous or obscure as many of my heroes.

Can't believe I left out a few of my favorites from the list Alejandro Escovedo(the Nuns), Peter Case (The Nerves, Plimsouls) as well as Dr. Frank (Mister T Experience) and Penelope Houston (The Avengers) but these i never opened for.
