Hmm… I wish I’d have kept some of mine! However I think we change bikes based on circumstance and requirements at the time. I bought the VFR as a nostalgic and project type purchase and don’t see that going anywhere soon, although everything is for sale at the right price!? You always go in to it with your head (sometimes) but mostly your heart but as you know, bikes are about passion, involvement and how they make you feel and ticking the box at the time… it’s a tough one. Just ridden the new ZX6R and I’m in love with it but really don’t think I could own it for a duration and it’s quite similar in performance to the 765 but provides a different experience. Forever bike? Dunno… but as you say, once you have been fortunate enough to tick the box of having what you want, something invariably comes along and has a different box that needs ticking. It’s a Great position to be in for Us to be able to change them based on circumstances as many are not. Gotta love em’!

@@TheMrHudsonGuy Hi there. They are okay. No distortion in the mirrors and seem to be holding up okay so far. But they aren't in the same league as Rizoma. NE Scot based in The Woodlands TX. Just picked up a 23 DS 3 weeks ago and really enjoying your videos. Using a 1100 standard seat for longer rides as it’s more comfortable than the standard seat. Only fitted the a EvoTech tail tidy so far as the bike had the combined stop/indicator tail light and the plate tucked under the seat. The 21-23 model year does not help with upgrades 😉. Looking at the throttle options and also the sprocket change. Good vid online showing the sprocket change and tube here in US. What jacket is that? Back in Aberdeenshire next week and looking forward to the drop in temp. Ride safe….

Warm enough here for spring and autumn riding. Can get a bit stuffy on hot sunny days though as there's no ventilation. Has a built in water barrier which is okay for showers, but the outer jacket material acts like a sponge in heavy rain. I like it though. I may have a solution for the throttle. Someone with the same model year has been in touch. Might take a wee while for me to get around to it though. You've MUCH cooler weather waiting for you when home😂😂 😂

@@CampbellZeroOne Thanks for sharing this info. It’s a great looking jacket but likely not for the TX heat given what you mention and also the online review. The DS is a fantastic and addictive bike. I also don’t plan on off-roading it so the sprocket change will possibly be a 16t front to slightly drop the rpm. Next tires will likely be more road focused however the standard tires are very good on the road if a little noisy. A short rear rack also on the list however limited options given the 21-23 model year… Subscribed to the channel and looking forward to seeing your future videos especially given the fantastic views of NE Scotland….Also looking forward to the high 90’s to low 60’s temp drop next week….. Ride safe…

The stock exhaust is just two short pipes and a thin bit of pressed metal shroud though. Unless (like me) you like the look of it, the Termi has no redeeming features other than getting itself up and out of the way if you plan to off-road or occasionally go through some water.

Nil difference. It sounds a tiny bit nicer on idle. Looks better (to some) and is a little more practical if you do happen to go off-road or through water. Other than that, it's heavier and less practical if you are going to be carrying luggage at any point. I wouldn't pay full price for this exhaust.
