I had this just over an hour ago. It was absolutely fine. I had a needle biopsy 2 days before the stereotactic one and found both extremely tolerable. I had myself worked up for nothing. The longest part was positioning of my breast and I felt very little discomfort.

Had this and my fallopian tubes removed yesterday. I’ve been having heavy periods that last for months at a time for the last 4 years now. I was bleeding heavily when I went into surgery and have barely had any spotting since coming out. Pain so far has been minimal. Just soreness and fatigue. Trying to pee and a sore throat has been worse thanks to the catheter and breathing tube I had 😂. I read a ton of stuff before my surgery and got mixed reviews but for me Ive had a good experience so far so hopefully this comment can ease some fears for anyone going into this process. ❤

I know many say this is painless..... well....not always true. I have learned that it is ok to tell the docs that I am resistant to anesthesia and novocaine. ( my dentist and my obgyn will attest to that) Some of us are. now they take that into consideration and give me something to help with that as well. don't be a martyr.

Hello from Irish Al in Florida , I set up your Department at Hologic when you bought a Chicago company , My experience at Hewlett Packard ultra sound paid off, also did every third month on Bone Density , I could test 7 a week in 40 hours , even built X-ray tubes for 2 days , I guess the regular employee took 3 weeks to do that ...The ultra sound Boot was fun to help out in , Oh they eventually included me in the Good Will Hunting character and The Departed movie, I knew the producer ,he was always impressed with my twin and I have Eidetic ( photo) memory ..Love all the improvements since I left (big Mistake ) ...
