They’re not freelancers. They’re dealing with bar owners so you could drink and invite her to have a drink, then if you’re planning to take her to your hotel room she will tell you that you have to pay the bar fine so her boss is going to allow her to leave her work. It’s a heist. Better if you stay in Manila to look for freelancers outside the bars for a responsible price.

Yes crime does exist in slum areas. A person who is obviously a tourist and are showing that they are carrying a whole lot of cash is at risk of getting robbed no matter what country he/she is in. From my own experience in south east asia, you usually mostly find nice, decent and hard working people in slum areas.

I used to think Thailand and Philippines are where I want to go when I get money and get all the girls I want. I fantasized im going to get 2 or 3 a night. but all the good videos are from 10 years ago, when girls were everywhere like Thailand, you can't walk 10 feet without them yanking on your arm in Angeles city and Cebu, i watched tons of videos on it. But now it doesn't look that great, Thailand still looks like the best place, and I have been to Pattaya twice, but its sad there are no other southeast Asian options for debauchery.

S E X tourism in the Philippines started to suffer in the way to fall down compared to Thailand. Especially after the pandemic as most of them went back to their provinces, and some of them found other work already or went to their men abroad. The Philippines it’s the land of lovers where you can find a girlfriend. There are bars still opening, but someday they will close if no more men are coming to them. They either increase the bar fines and even try to cheat with the receipts. If someone wants to have a girl better to look for freelancers somewhere outside the bars. Or do a walk-in approach in the daytime.

Been to Boracay three times - two of them because the company I was with always wanted to go there - and while it's pretty and a great place to be seen (especially for filipinos) and take happy snaps...I found it to be a bit two dimensional. It's got a lovely long beach and lots of restos or resto-bars. But you have to catch a boat back to the mainland to find most of the natural wonders of the region - waterfalls. rivers, fresh water pools, etc. El Nido and Coron are a better option for me as they have all the natural wonders plus the after dark entertainment.
