Does the bottom of the cover have to be completely unsewn ? Mine has the two edges at the bottom each sewn about a third of the way (leaving a third in the middle open)

As long as it will fit to turn it right side out, that should work!

Nice to see yet another video showing this trick. Lots out there, so now I feel that, if so many agree, this must work well.

O.M.G. You're my hero. Seriously. I used to dread cleaning my duvet cover because i would literally climb inside to get it back on the down converter. This is amazing. Thank you for posting!

This is so fast easy and simple. Some how I always have to re-watch your video to remind myself how to do it, so for me it's two minutes to watch the video, and two minutes to put on the cover. lol. Thanks for the video. The question remains, is this how the royal servants do it?

I think this is best suited for warmer states! Not so good for Canadians with thick winter duvets. My "jelly roll" was 4x the size of hers and stuck half in and half out and ended with me on top of it trying to shove it in violently while my 5 year old watched in horror. Will try again with the spring duvet in a couple of months :/ until then I think the normal way is easier. Cool tutorial though!

Thank u so much for posting this trick it's a really big help, I tried this trick and it really worked. It was amazing it saved lots of my time. I recommend not doing it to thick quilts that are a super king or king sized quilts. I did this trick on a super king and it worked fine because it's a thin quilt. 👍

They never have anyone do a KING size duvet... its the size that makes it so difficult to deal with! If I were putting a FULL size on my KING bed I could do it easier also.

Thank you sooooooooooo much! Even with the torn inner shell of my duvet this worked. I am usually tearing my hair out, yelling at the down comforter, etc. I was so sure it wouldn't be easy on mine, but it was! King size too!

Thank you so much for this. I just bought my first duvet and cover. It's a king size and I'm like 5 feet tall. I tried another way I saw online and was so frustrated and buried in fabric. I don't care if you did or didn't invent this trick, as others seem to be debating, regardless, it sure helped me out tremendously!
