Hey, my name's Austin and this channel focuses on pinball gameplay videos with and without commentary. If you have questions about any game covered here, feel free to ask in the video's comment section and I'll do my best to help.
I've been playing pinball since 2011 and the oldest videos on this channel date back to 2013 when I acquired my first machines and was still a newbie. As such this channel has become a bit of an archived history of my progression as a pinball player. I also used to do dedicated/edited videos, but these days I mostly focus on simple stream captures/recordings. Low effort content, but hopefully you find it useful regardless.
While this is my only pinball channel, you may also stumble on my presence elsewhere, where I have been a part of other pinball streams (Buffalo Pinball, 2017), assisted in running unique pinball events (Pinball Done Quick, 2015 - 2017), as well as managing my other non-pinball KZread channels (i.e., Gameplay and Talk).

Wow, around 2 minutes in I can't believe how long you're able to keep the ball in that upper playfield... at first I had an even harder time with it as it it's not so glaringly obvious that the flippers are not aligned in a straight line with the cabinet edge. Thanks for the explanation and tips.
@1:08..."that's what she said" Lol
6:49 SHEESH, I'm suprised I didn't hear "Careful! Careful!"
Yeah, there's basically no tilt on this specific machine.
I swear man, Seance is always a ball killer.
People dog on this game a ton but I honestly really like it. Yes Mick is obnoxious and that makes things kinda frustrating but it’s great when you can rip a bunch of shots without him getting in the way. And he is a crucial part of the game despite him being annoying. Although I can’t stand when the ball is coming down behind him and he bats it into the outlanes, lol.
Just DON'T mess with that idol!
Nice enjoyable playthrough. I hope I can play that pin in real life in the future. :D
Although I never cared for this machine, you explained the rules well. I would enjoy seeing you give a tutorial on Black Knight SOR. I have never been able to spell KNIGHT twice on that machine or battle the Black Knight.
That was some good gameplay.
i have 2 of these boards and have never adjusted the brightness. thanks for the video
It's not always necessary, but is a nice feature to have when something seems way too bright (or in some cases, way too dim!).
This game is complete garbage but I had to learn it a little for a tournament in 2 weeks. Thanks.
Yep! Not a great game, but you need to know what to do if you're going to be stuck with it in a tournament.
How exactly do you change this table from free play to credits?
You need to go to software settings. How you do that, I do not know. I do not own this machine.
Austin, I really enjoyed the video and love your kitty. Always dreamed of this table in my youth. Great description. 🖖🏼
That left scoop is such a dick LOL Might be easier to just dial down the power on it in the settings so it pops it nicely to the left flipper.
Funny thing is, when they first brought it in, it did just that. Then one day it just started shooting down the middle. I'll see about asking the operators if they can adjust the coil strength settings. Not sure if Sterns of this era have power options for individual coils.
Awesome pinball game
the lower flippers are weak sauce, and need a rebuild and maybe coil replacement.
You're telling me.. I'm the one that constantly has to deal with it in league play, heh.
7 years later, but thanks for the informative video. Not many gameplay guides for this on KZread! Planning on purchasing one soon.
It's a pretty fun one. I could see myself owning another in the future.
Definitely nice playing (incl. Deadsafe)
Thanks a lot!
I appreciate your gameplay explanations.
Glad to hear you find them useful!
Playing Oktoberfest and drinking claws… yikes.
I am a diabetic. If I drink, it has to be low/no carb.
Lionman!!
Great video. I just bought one of these, because everytime i see one on location i play it, and play it horribly. With this teach, and having it at home now, i feel like i should be able to boost up my scores
Too much blue? lol, Im personally sick of too much ORANGE! lol
.
Glad to hear you say there will be a gameplay video soon! Make it a long video please!
Here are some old comparison videos I did a long time ago: Before/After on a Starship Troopers: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eneZztp7oNfef5M.html Before/After on an Iron Man: kzread.info/dash/bejne/i65mp5qkYJybqbw.html Before/After on a RBION: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aoGJqbankby2mqQ.html Before/After on a Rolling Stones: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lINlzcuAoJfdiso.html
I know I'm super late to the party but what version is your Breakshot running on? I have a completely different match animation and it's 1.0.0, which isn't on the IPDB so I'm thinking if it's unique I'll dump the ROM. Trying to learn the differences between ROM revisions.
No clue unfortunately, this one left my apartment not too long after posting this video.

Being able to play any machine for over three hours straight is impressive. I enjoy pinball but don't have the patience to play for that duration. You must really enjoy Venom.
One jackbot from mega visor 😢
Good game. Most modes are fun, and score well... The problem with the scoring on No Fear is( most people time out half the modes to play the three wizard modes! I would love if no fear had an award for beating the modes ( like STTNG, and many other games do). Even the new Black Knight ( sword of rage has an award for playing through modes ( letters in the word knight)! I like the game, but I should love it!
13:54 "Cheers BTW, got to drink to beer while you're playing a game about beer" says the guy drinking White Claw - lol joking aside, Great gameplay! love to see videos about this game! It's a great one!
I'm a diabetic, so yeah, seltzer is my choice lately, haha. I love regular beer though.
What kind of bulbs do these home Fireballs use by default? Do they use special ones or just your typical 555s, 47s, 44s, etc.?
Just your typical bulbs used on full-size machines, yeah.
I remember seeing this machine for sale at a Lowe's hardware store in the 70's.
Did anyone notice the flipper angles? The left is adjusted way ahead of the ball rail, the right is probably normal....I guess it makes it easier to backhand the super charger ramp? Mine are at the playfield pin holes, Wonder if this is where they should be?
I absolutely love playing this pinball game, and tonight, I actually got my best score on the game; my final score was 603,060
Venom pinball would be interesting
venom
I love to watch this video (watched it multiple times) - you played very nicely with remarkable usage of the 3rd flipper, which I totally dig!
Thanks a lot! Glad to hear you enjoy it.
Love this machine!!! Played it as a kid at the local 7-11 with my uncle for about 3 years until they exchanged it.
There’s a setting in the game’s BIOS where you can turn the background sound on or off; it was probably off by default. You have to check the game’s manual for the setting; depending on what software revision Flash has, it will vary.
Great Art !
The video is out of sync with your speech. Nice game though. Grats on owning the table.

41:57 starting double scoring then immediately hitting the scoop for 100m Portal collect...BOOM!
So satisfying. 😀
It seems that the Super Bonus isn't awarded for some reason. After draining ball #2, you had 223220 points. The bonus multiplier wasn't increased from 1X and you had 9 balls spotted. Each ball spotted at the end of ball is worth 3000 points times the bonus multiplier, resulting in your bonus being 27000 points. At the start of ball #3, you had 250220 points. If the Super Bonus *was* properly awarded, you would end up with 274200 points at the start of ball #3.
On my game I added the same two lights that you did, but I also found a small bulb holder to fit under the top target plastic. Now the lanes appear to be lit evenly. I also did not like the tinny sound that the machine makes because of the thin plywood bottom. I put a bat of fiberglass insulation under the playfield to deaden the sound of the solenoids. now it sounds more like the commercial game that I have.
Very cool! I'll have to pass along that info to a friend of mine that recently got one of these (mine unfortunately blew up and I no longer have it... at least it stayed true to its name).
When you have one target left to light a lock and you have a ball trapped on the left, its much safer to go for the right up kicker since it spots a tomcat letter
Also when shooting for the up kicker its always a good idea to hold up your right flipper to make it an easier shot
It's 50/50 as to whether it's safer or not. I say most of the time it doesn't really matter, as the ball's going to fly back around those upper loops regardless (or sometimes it'll feed into the far right kicker, which completely throws the ball out of control).
@@junior_pinball Perhaps, depending on how the flippers are set. Mine are a bit on the higher end and so doing that raises the potential for me to clip the lower right flipper when going for the right loop. I generally don't have a problem with the shot when leaving the upper flipper down.
