  I'm coming back to this video a couple years later, to say: honestly yours' was the best and most genuine reaction to metroid dread that i have ever seen. and i have searched that term in youtube till *exhaustion*! (I may literally have watched every single metroid dread reaction 😅) I'm still so happy we both got what we wanted - a new 2D metroid, that's good!! and it's seemingly revived the entire franchise, boosting sales of previous titles - metroid is *back* on the menu, fellas! 😎 also, amazing playthrough :) thanks for being so genuine, and recording your experience for us to enjoy vicariously. i haven't watched every playthrough for obvious practical reasons, but yours is one that i still remember fondly. it won't be the same when metroid 6 gets announced probably next year, but i just wanted to sincerely thank you, for posting this reaction and your subsequent playthrough :> here's to a bright future for the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter! ✨

  I still maintain that the Scrin are just an evolved version of the Forgotten from the timeline where Kain successfully detonated the World Altering Missile. Why bother with exploring the stars when you can harvest an infinite number of alternate pasts using the Chronosphere?

  You know what, Akira Kurosawa's 1990 movie "Dreams " has a scene that sounds a hell of a lot like the opening to Hell March, even the timing is almost spot on. Its specifically the dream of "The Tunnel" and its the scene where the company marches out of the tunnel

  The worst part about is. i saw the entirety of the game, all campaigns, all endings, and i was invested in the story and gameplay. Only for the vid to end, and for me to see it was 3 years ago. that gaping empty hole just becamse wider. after CNC3 i wish they continued the series. God do i want to see more.

  I just had a random thought... ...Could the Scrin somehow factor into the Einstein time machine? The test at Trinity happens in 1946. A year later, the alleged UFO crash in Roswell. Both places are roughly 180 miles apart. And what if the UFO was a Scrin vessel? The Roswell crash is never explicitly mentioned in the Command and Conquer universe. In Tiberian Dawn and Renegade, the only known UFO crash was the one located in Cairo in Nod's possession. How long it had been there is unclear. Then there is the Tiberium Meteor. Was it random chance, or did the Scrin map out solarsystems first before seeding planets with Tiberium? Was Einstein's time machine somehow responsible for that happening? Did it cause the Scrin to crash in Cairo instead of Roswell? And if it functioned, was Kane the one who signaled the Scrin to seed the Earth with Tiberium with the Tacitus?

  I never understood the game when i was playing as a kid ..at the end when we see kane's face with cabal's i thought all along Kane was dead and we followed Cabal's orders long before the Firestorm expansion

  I always figured ascension IS the event that unlocks knowledge of time travel for Kane, so he can pass it off to Einstein and set everything in motion. "He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past."

  Here we go again We called just for remaster of Red Alert 2, just compatibility, sound and graphical improvements/upscaling of the game and datadisc with anything else left original just like it had been done with first two C&C titles We really did not wanted another cashgrab spinoff glued together from usual schemes and reused/copied assets on background of shady practics All what you had covered on previous videos/addendums just happened again Once more the franchise had been thrown by EA to the same greedy game studio to ressurect it for nothing but another opportunity of profit EA apparently still does have it's standards --- Trust me ,it will happen again, just like with Star Wars or Call of Duty or even EA games (rest in roster updates , Madden and Fifa). As long as studios will see it lucrative, they will twist and break further any franchise.

  The note for the original stock audio says it's from a German WWII drill. Drill instructors sound like gibberish no matter what language they shout. What I hear is "Die Staffel, rechts um!" for the sample in the song, and then, "Augen gerade-AUS!" and then "Front wie ich stehe (gibberish) ACHT SHRITT!"

  This game is amazing! My expectations were low, but this game jumped over its head. I like the Westwood games too, EA could remaster/remake Emperor: Battle for Dune.

  This is how i see it going Nod went through Threshold 19, Nod is now at war with the scrin on one of their conquered worlds on the other side of threshold 19 the story starts with Nod trying to survive on this new world, Meanwhile Back on earth the scrin have invaded this time it's not a bunch of harvesters but actual military and GDi and all of earth including the forgotten now fight to survive. the story goes back and forth or stays with one faction
