Yes, flour is EXTREMELY explosive if the stoichiometry is right and an ignition source is present.
Great to have the kind of money to afford this. 5 acres, plus cedar, plus the network for woodworking and stove.
I think you made a big mistake, and let the collectors get more then half full, after that i does not work ok. Make the same test by using just the half of the capacity and it will work fine
Great video, love the effort, helps the community. I was so distracted by your misuse of the word electrocuted. You are still alive, so you were shocked, not electrocuted.
Lady if you didn't make it, don't break it. Stop smashing the drawer 😡
Use a mask !!!
Definitely gonna try it out asap
make 10% more epoxy then you need. :)
Build a plate rack over the sink. I did that with mine and added a light you turn on and off with a hand wave underneath. Mine was very wide, so you could not buy one to fit.
THANKS! Excellent for this DIY newcomer.
I'm old-fashioned maybe, but for me SIP houses are toy houses
First: get out the manuels and read it and use it while setting up the shopsmith. Learn to plan your wirk so you dont have to keep switching back and forth.
She is a keeper...that's all I have to say.
Dustopper + Vacuum Bag + HEPA filter = clean air (for the most part)
You have about 10k dollars worth of equipment there
"Respectfully, these dust collectors were made for sawdust and wood chips, not flour. So this test didn't prove anything meaningful to me, as a woodworker." Well said by Atomiczombie, and I agree with it.
😂 🎧🤪🎙️🫶 Thank you so much for sharing 🙏 I wishing you a beautiful day to you and all your viewers. Much Love Thierry ❤️˘◡˘❤️
Poor maintenace due to GREED 100 percent. Do you know how wealthy the Collings family is? Robert F alone worth $10M and skims $300K/yr off the foundation. The wealthy do not care about human life only $$$. F the Collings Foundation
Direct your ire at the Collings Foundation. You don't get to indict everyone who has made money. Serious maintenance malpractice involved in the 909 crash. Having the Chief Pilot as Director of Maintenance is a huge conflict of interests that should never happen. There was clear lack of oversight from the Directors at Collings and the FAA.
These old planes are being flown into the ground one by one.
What do you do about the nasty chemicals in the osb boards? They will outgass to the inside living space. Hummm.
Dumassed thing ever.
did you know flour can explode ????
ANY dust can explode.
Love the shop smith! I have one from 1956 it’s fun. Don’t use it as a table saw but love the lathe , jointer and drilling capability. 👍🏼
Outstanding production! Well done! Bravo!
That wet sand paper and dry erase eraser point makes no sence out of context
This is a very shocking story 🤣
Can’t believe the negativity lol. I learned that I need to use the ground supplied with my dust-stopper.
My Chandelier that runs 3 LED 3w Philips B11 Bulb on an illuminated dimmer and I don’t see that problem here. If it happens with a lighted switch like yours. You might need a minimal load CAP by Lutron.
I drive a nail in every 18” !!!!!!😮
Wish you guys were posting the vlogs again, glad to see it’s all going well!
ENJOY the informal vids! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for!👍👍👍👍👍
This reminds me of the Kingdom Hearts clip when Rabbit uses carrot top juice to slim down Pooh instantaneously
A $4.99 alternative is a Telescoping Magnetic Pickup Tool from Harbor Freight. Fits in your pocket and can handle any size.
I had the privilege to fly aboard the "Yankee Lady" B-17G , July 2003. This video says it all about the thrill.... but never for once having the concern that what happened to them could /would happen. Then I thought of the tens of thousands of brave airmen in WW2 who took to the skies against greater odds and lived and died serving with no thought of it being a joy ride. RIP to all who have served and those who have preserved these amazing machines.
Horrible idea , very flammable and OSB is not water resistant
The CFM is important for correct cyclone operation but the CFM or model of shop vacs isn't mentioned.
why can you not simple use sawdust to complete the test ? thinking it would give more accurate results. I
Thanks for the epoxy dyi hints.
That's a heck ton of epoxy. Naw
Sloppy short cuts in maintenance/sloppy short cuts in social views. I was in US Army aviation, which brooked no foolishness in maintenance, I know that hubris-ridden aviation crowd too well. 🍷😮

Thank you for this amazing information!
Read the NTSB report. That plane should have never been in the air.. greedy people

I watched you since your first start building your home. I've seen all those mistakes you made. And now you're putting yourself out there as an expert on sips Building one house does not make you an expert unless you're being paid by the manufacturer. To be that expert, did you get a Costco on your material? So you could go on KZread end. Pretend to be an expert, you're not. How many houses have you built like this matter back? How many houses have you ever built? I watched your other show if you've never built a house before, you had no idea you should be telling other people how to do something you won't want that's like changing the tire on my car and then I am now a master mechanic, I can tell you what's wrong with your. Car engine That's a problem with youtubers. They all think they're experts on everything and people believe them. Because you say I know how to do this. When you only did it once doesn't mean you know how
But you've never even done that much. So your critique is really hypocritical.
I am looking at doing a art piece resin pour with pigments on a piece of oak bench top I brought to be my new desk, I am not a new comer to resin pour, I have done several art projects and every one I have had to sand the underside because I used masking tape. As so many tutorials have recommended, yours is the first video I have seen that advises to you clear packing take and shows how much easier this makes life. THANK YOU! fyi its genius.
I always wondered how the epoxy holds up over time. It's really pretty when its new. Looks like you did this video 3 years ago, how is it looking today?
