Btw you don't have to cut the exhaust. You can detach the shocks but make sure to unclip surrounding cables and the brake hoses because when you do it drops the back axle enough to slide the whole exhaust out. Still a tight fit but it's doable. Reason most cut the exhaust is not because you have to. It's just easier.

It's a beautiful car, however I just passed up on buying one yesterday. It was going to cost me 36k + my insurance was going to go up $500 per/year. Also, even though I love how it looks, it's not a very good daily driver, so I figured I'd just keep my boring MK3 Titanium. I love the RS though so enjoy that amazing car!

Symposer delete just because the fake noise in the cabin can get tiresome for some. Also the Symposer can leak boost because it's all just plastic and just eventually lets air leak out. But that should be just an added benefit to the delete. The main reason is to remove the fake noise.

If you're worrying the engine light might appear, it wont. With induction kits, the MAF sensor is self learning. But when you modify your car especially parts related to the engine ie. Exhaust, induction kits etc, then a remap is always a good idea.
