Okay... so far it's neat and nice. But what about the Last Will / Testament if anything goes wrong? Even children do have the right to make a statement about their belongings.

Conservative therapy. Like going to a dentist for a toothache and Dentist says try not to eat on the tooth. Neither a bad tooth or CVI get better. Just treat the problem and stop wasting time. I got the same story. Got on a plane, went to Thailand and get corrective surgery. End of story.

Really good informative video. I lost some of my hearing and my GP told me to wait a few days, by the time i got to see the ENT department it was too late to take steriods
BEFORE taking any decision go to an experienced general practitioner (if any left) to carefully examine your nose and see what the reason for the symptoms are. Get a CAT or a MRI BEFORE procedure so the surgeon will not have free hand to experiment on your nose (like it happened to me).
What happened to you? Explain more cause I might have this done
Are you also having issues because of this implant? I have horrible marks because of this implant, been trying to contact the company for months and nothing gets resolved

@@camillamota3065 Do not go for cartilage implants, VERY FEW physicians are skilled in implanting them the right way and the shape of the nose will be modified (potato nose). Besides REMEMBER any procedure done on the nose if it is extensive (and if the cretin got into the medical school based on recommendations) and if the nasal allae (wings) are being pulled and stretched excessively you may developed what is (quite erroneously) called ENS - empty nose syndrome, a dreadful condition !!!
@@camillamota3065 I did write u very long comments on the issue and unfortunately the utube deleted them all.
Cost of implant : 850 $ each, 1700 a pair. If sedation iv anesthesia needed chip in another 850 anesthesiologist fee, 1000 hospital fee, 2000 ENT surgeons fee, total into 7 k. If done in office under local, about 2k per nostril.
Vivaer is another procedure that basically does NOTHING although in theory it sounds like it may work. I have it done and it did NOTHING to improve my symptoms.
Empty nose syndrome is a dreadful complication that can result after any nasal procedure done by INCOMPETENT surgeons. It does not depend on the patient, it depends on the SURGEON !!! As we know in the US getting in to a medical specialty is based on who knows who and NOT on competitive exams and as such all cretins can become “surgeons”. Yes, I developed ENS after surgery done by a “professor” at a University medical center in NJ. A surgery for a nasal polyp that general practitioners in Haiti treat SUCCESSFULLY with few shots into the polyp with epinephrine spaced along about 3 visits.
Good points. It is also important to note that even well respected and experienced surgeons are also causing many cases of nasal turbinate injury. Even when done "correctly." They fail to understand that these organs are very complex and that nerves and mucosal tissue within and surrounding these organs to date cannot be successfully treated or regenerated.

@@camillamota3065 I did try and i wrote u a lot on it and utube deleted my response to you entirely.
It does not work. I had it done and came out through the skin in two weeks. I analyzed it : it is too short, the bends at the upper end are useless and induce perforation of skin with resulting infection and need to pull it out (the hook got caught in the frame of my eyeglasses, Latera came out of skin just when i removed my eyeglasses). Implant does cost 850 $ a piece. I do NOT recommend this procedure although in theory it seems that it may work. At night i wear now a very simple device that i made myself from a … paper clip !!! It works very well and saves me from spending on nasal strips (they work too).
How did you manage to remove the implant, was it through surgery? My nose is deformed because of this implant.
@@camillamota3065 After the first few days the upper hook came through the skin of the nasal bridge, the implant itself did not improve my condition, i went to the ENT and he supposedly cut the protruding portion, but in reality he did not cut it at all because coming home i was feeling it as before (yes, docs can be crooks and liars too). After another week i took off my eyeglasses and i felt a pinch on the site of the implant and when i palpated the area : no more implant. I carefully looked at the eyeglasses frame and it was there, hooked on the lower portion of the frame !!!
@@camillamota3065 The concept of Latera in itself is legitimate though. In my case it failed because it was placed too high and the length was too short (2 cm). And also the way the upper terminals are designed are faulty (they are at a 45 degree angle) - these factors combined with the lack of understanding how this device is supposed to work leads to failure (all ENTs advised against it but i insisted to have it done because i was quite desperate - i developed ENS too after the 1-st surgery).
@@camillamota3065 I have now the implant in an éprouvette and i analyzed it in detail. The company will not answer to you since Striker is not the original developer.
@@camillamota3065 BUT : if it does help you, forget about the esthetical appearance, a good night sleep it what matters !!! Supposedly it does dissolve in two years but looking at it looks like an ordinary twisted strip of polyethylene. In fact it should not modify the shape of nose too much, but many patients may just feel that way.
Scam. Stay away from unnecessary nasal surgeries. Once you're injured it's "your" fault not theirs.

OMG I should of had surgery 2 years ago. I had a MRI and I was sent to 3 different doctors. Each one passed me to the next. I believe because all I have is medicare insurance and I think they didnt want to do the surgery because they dont get paid much for the procedure.

Dr. Hoffman...after the 30 db question in this video at 30:44 I am hearing a large volume drop off in your voice, sounds echoey, and I hear a large fan noise competing with your voice. This continues until the end of the video. Prior to 30:44, the audio is "normal" sounding to me but muffled. What is happening?

If this product were in Turkey, millions of patients would be comfortable.
I doubt many Turks have collapsed nasal allae, it is a condition affecting mostly folks with a narrow nasal base (Northen Europeans) although occasionally can be found in other groups too.
