Does the rain run off the roof set in mud or does the mud set like cement?

I like your style. But what happens when it pours with rain? Maybe should of lined the rocks and sticks with a tarp, before coating it with mud.

I would sleep so well in there except for the dog howling at the moon.

Only criticism i have being in mining is you are undermining the overhangs support the face is already showing sign that its the weakest link in that shelf. With an earthquake or heavy rains i would place much faith in its longevity. I wouldnt be sleeping much in there comfortably. Put the bed area out away from the underhang for a better nights sleep

Im starting to think that all these old structures are ancient bushcraft guys who survived the yunger-drias impact 13k or so years ago. Or its the remnace of a out o control bushcraft yourube community about the same age. A couple taiwanese dudes who thought building pyraminds in south america would be a good influencer niche.

Forget the annoying comments. This is warm and protective. And nothing wrong with the dog. I read a lot of nonsense in the comments. Nice job!!!!!

it's a good idea to make shlelter in a cave. You'll have a cozy and warm place to stay, and will be protected from wild animals .

So what happens to the mud roof of your shelter when a heavy rain poors down on that area? Do you get dirty mud leaking and dripping down on you???

One will come across this little shelter and say “this must’ve been built 400 years ago.” Ironically stone is one of the few elements that cannot be carbon dated, which makes one question about the pyramids true construction date.
