Working mom and wife, learning to homestead on 2 acres. I'm passionate about clean living, but just as passionate about creating a balance to keep it all sustainable. Come along and learn with me!
Feeling some type of way heading back in the office. I've been blessed to work from home for 5 months after returning from maternity leave and LET ME TELL YOU my postpartum experience has been night and day. I was not scrambling after sleeping two hours to drive into work on time. I was not worrying about the 2 hour commute adding to the time I was away from my baby. It allowed me to have an in home day care provider that let me be with my children and ease the transition of a family of 3 to 4. When people say they want to work from home, it's not because they don't want to work. It's because they want more time with the people they love. I will continue to speak out about the need to make employers more family friendly, because I know the difference it can make.

As I don't care for eggplant, do you think that zucchini would work as a replacement? Great video as always.
@theworkfromhomesteader12 сағат бұрын
Totally! I'd cook for a little less time since it is a little more of a water dense veggie and keep the chunks thicker. I think that would also be a great summer swap for those who have an abundance of them in their garden right now! And thank you! :) :)

@@theworkfromhomesteader When I joined Goodreads years ago, I went ahead and rated books that I had read over the years. Then, I looked at other people's reviews for the same books. A few names kept coming up so I knew we had the same taste. I friended them and now they come up on my "wall" when I go to the site, and I can follow along with what they are currently reading which gives me ideas.
