Hey, I’m coming soon to Bali for a month and just wondering do you know what is the distance (time) between Ubud and Uluwatu? I’m planning to do beach days, but staying in Ubud and doing morning travels down to Uluwatu? Is it better doing that with a car or a scooter? Thanks 😅
Hello, yay you’re going to love Bali! Ubud is stunning, we spent 2 weeks there. Ubud to Uluwatu is 2-2.5 hours away and maybe more depending of traffic. Ubud is in the middle of Bali and Uluwatu is down south. There is a lot of traffic getting into Uluwatu as you go past the airport. It’s up to you if you want to spend 4 + a day driving there and back. To get the most of Uluwatu we suggest spending a few days there so you can soak up all the beautiful beaches and relax. I hope this helps and have the best time :)

Will be joining my daughter there for 7-10 days in January, as a side-trip on a longer stay (3 months) as a solo traveler in southern Thailand. Been to Thailand a few times now; will be my first visit to Bali. I figure on spending much of this time in and around Ubud. Probably with an early excursion over to Nusa Lembongnan, shortly after arrival. First couple of days we will be staying in Balangan Beach. After my departure, my daughter will be staying on in Bali for a few more weeks. Any advice would be appreciated.
Sounds like an epic trip you have planned! Ubud is a wonderful place. I’d stay north of the city, slightly away from the hustle and bustle, you’ll find a nice villa with everything you need. Then you can jump on a motorbike and be in the city in no time, where you can grab breakfast or lunch. Depends what kind of trip you are looking for. If you are really adventurous there are many day trips to do from Ubud to waterfalls and other nature activities. We will be releasing a video on Uluwatu tomorrow, so check that out. A new place which I’ve become actually obsessed with is Pizza Cult in Ubud. Amazing food, great service, such a cute venue and really affordable. Also a great place to bring your laptop and work from!

100$ heheh normally cost of month in Bali in April 2024 Was 5k$ + fly 1500$ in very very low level life style in dirty , disgusting, polluted , traffic , noisy area canggu , outside villa is that disgusting, dirty even can’t find word to explain it

Bali is still an affordable holiday destination! If you find the hidden gems (Local Warungs) and don’t over indulge yourself you can definitely spend between $40-70 AUD a day. I guess it just depends on the type of trip you are taking 🥰Jai and I are planning to stay here as long as we can, so we are keeping a nice balance xx thanks for watching!

Going to Bali at the end of the month and you have convinced me to go outside my comfort zone and go to a warung for food - was a bit worried about getting an upset stomach but the food looks too good. I will be getting a massage every place I stay!
We were worried too but found some highly recommended one with good reviews and have had no issues. You’ll have the best time. Where are you heading in Bali ? if you’re heading to Ubud definitely try out these two places - Warung Biah Biah - compounds warung Both are in the same street in the middle of the Ubud city so it’s easy! Multiple massages are the dream 🥰
