I had PRK and it destroyed my vision. It was the worse decision I ever made and it destroyed my life and has destroyed the lives of so many others. I didn’t develop any vision issues until about a year after the surgery. You may be fine now but you can develop vision issues and/or severe eye pain years after the surgery. You are also more prone to all sorts of things like corneal ectasia, detached retinas, early onset cataracts, etc. Even if you don’t develop noticeable symptoms, your eyes are still damaged structurally. The cornea was never meant to be cut open. I wish every single day I could go back and not have it and be able to have perfect vison with glasses and soft contact lenses again. Unfortunately, I can’t go back in time but at least I can warn others about how dangerous these procedures are so maybe they won’t have to suffer like me. Please do not promote these horribly dangerous and completey unecessary procedures. All you’re doing is potentially hurting others by encouraging them to go through with it.

My goodness you’re holding it together so well! How do you do that? I have no pituitary gland. Having another MRI in 10 days. I HATE that cage on the face. Do you have any pituitary function? I wish I could be as well spoken as you. I’m losing it. I hope they can give me my life back. Allergic to steroids for adrenal insufficiency. I’m going to keep my eyes closed like you suggested. Thank you.

How are you doing now, Ashley? I have to go through this also. Nothing is scheduled yet, as I just got results of my MRI, and found my tumor is back after 10 years. I never thought this would happen after this long.

@@Kasonas I had surgery with mine in 2020. It was larger than they thought and it was growing at an angle. Mine is a non functioning tumor. I am in the US so don't know if there are differences in how they are treated. I have not had radiation therapy. I just found out it was growing again. I again don't know if the type of tumor determines how they are treated or not. I did scan through her vids and know she did have surgery 6 years ago and I don't know for sure when they did the other procedure. I am older so this is all more worrisome 64years old and 60 when I had my surg in 2020.

@@othellewis8931I was 56 when I first had the first surgery to remove 3 cm tumor. Then this year at 66, I had the second surgery and it was almost as big. I was worried because of my age also but I did well. This neurosurgeon said he wants to do radiation this time so it won't come back.

Thank you for this. I had surgery for this in July 2023 so its early days but the speed at which these tumours grow appears to be so slow that they dont really pose a risk of regrowing at any speed. All of mine was removed, so I am up for another MRI in 9 months time. Bless you for sharing, it really does help others.

I’m not trying to scare anybody but radiation causes cancer I know because I had radiation and it caused squamous cell skin cancer in the exact spot that I had it exactly 20 years to the date of the radiation so if they tell you it doesn’t that is a lie Sorry I’m so honest, but it’s the truth.

I had pituitary surgery in 2017 then again in 2022. interesting that your surgeon wouldn't do the surgery because of the corroded artery. My Surgeon did the surgery despite the fact that the tumor was sitting on the corroded artery. He didn't get all of it and here ai am 1 year later and its already huge. At least Your doctor saved you the trauma of another surgery. Mine was a waste. I have an appointment with my surgeon next week. he does the gamma knife. I assume he will recommend that procedure this time. I didn't know what was involved in it . I guess ill be getting a cage screwed to my head. oh boy.

It’s been 11 months since i did PRK surgery and i still have so much pain in the eye which’s eyesight was more weak than the other, after check up doctor told me that you have no problem in your eye but he prescribed me an artificial tears drop, im using it since a week but still i have same pain 😢

Wow- I loved this video! Their house is amazing! Those house keys are everything. The hotel was definitely spectacular and that view was unbelievable!! Nice that you could use the pool. When we were in Italy in September, it was crazy hot. Their restaurant looked so wonderful. Shelby’s bday dress was so lovely & everyone looked so amazing for the wedding! That bow is your hair was adorable, Ashley. Shelby & Nicolle are so sweet together. And, your dad & mom are still just the cutest, but your brother & his husband are collectively, a close second🤗 Thank you so much for sharing this!!♥️
