Great video mate, really enjoyed it. I’m going up there on Saturday. Going to meet a dear friend and have a day driving round the borders. It’s the getting there I enjoy too…. So I’m going up the pretty way via Buttertubs
What a fantastic place to fly. Wonderful flight. 👌
Beautiful drone view please 🙏 follow me 👏👏👏👏👏
Peter. this is interesting . have a nice day. :))
crap documentary.............guy with a camera turns up insults a load of London couriers............with the same stereotypical contemptuous approach that the rest of the world has for Britain...........practically the reason they took to the road in the first place to earn a badly paid dangerous living in all weathers...........& no longer exist............
95ish til 2019.. Worked on a bicycle all that time in London for loadsa companies.. Went by the nickname Pikey!.. Loved the freedom of being a courier... Loadsa faces in this video... retired now due to bad health.. great content mush...
I think for all ex-dispatch couriers this a video full of nostalgia.
1986 to 2009 Long distance Best time of my life 3 million miles A serious accident finished me Anyone out there do it longer than me?
Nice one Peter! I went there, on my way to Aberystwyth, a few years ago; however, it was quite a dry year, so the water wasn't flowing over the dam. Ian :-)
An interesting place! Ian :-)
It really is!
I did a couple of months on a CX500 Eurosport in the mid 90s. Great times.
I'm an ex-dispatch rider from the 80s, up to 100k a year, did it for 5.5 years, death rate was 1 in 6 per year in our riders room. Crazy days, loved it and miss it. At 61 yo I dream of those simple days riding me bike all day, but the reality is the work isn't there any more since the internet. Glory days never to be again, there's very little about this social phenomenon out there but for thousands this was life, a reality, a culture un recorded.
Hey how come your using my film ? It clearly states not to upload UK you tube
My mate. Graham asked me to change resolution to 16.9 and upload he was one of the riders featured it not getting any money out of it gets lots of comments if you want me to take it down I will ! thanks
Blimey, 2008/9 was pretty much the end of despatching the late 70s very early 80s was so busy. Several red stars on same docket and a few going to Heathrow. It was the sort of job you could disappear off circuit and doss the rest of the day. If you got sacked you'd just start with another company the next day
Hi there! Long time no see? Ian :-)
Hi Ian finally weather has improved
Best work I ever had was despatch riding in the late 80's.
Mint this
Talk about a remote beach. Beautifully shot.
21st Century Lifetime.
I recently visited Hoddesdon and absolutely fell in love with place.
Craig y Nos - one of my most favourite places in the world. A beautiful, peaceful park. I'm surprised a warden didn't call you out for flying your drone there though!!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video.
wow!!! ...is that place open? ...does it do food + beverages???
B&b
I don't know why your clip keep suggested to md for the past few days. Had to watch to know why. Did not disappoint at all. It is beautiful
Nice one Peter! I particularly liked the top down shots of the trains (and you, yourself, of course). Ian :-)
Nice one Peter! What a lovely place to fly; I always like flying around old/ruined towers. Ian :-)
Thanks Ian as always
Fake video-- pig stream
Umm the falls aren’t falling
I lived in Hoddesdon from 2002 to 2010,,, Worked at ITT Industries... I could see the Old Highway and Rye House... Wish you had done more towards the town...
Nice one Peter! I haven't been to Stanage Edge for years; i.e. since I was at college, in Derby, back in the late 1970's. Ian :-)
Thanks Ian uploading other videos from that area too
Nice one Peter. Went over the Chirk Aqueduct, on a canal boat, back in 2019. See m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/iniu0duTqpPRZbQ.html . Ian :-)

🎊 P R O M O S M!!
Gorgeous footage, a very high Tide! Used to be on the River with my Dad, out of Bradwell Marina. Lovely area. You captured a beautiful sunny day in a place with special memories for me. Thank you!
I am pretty sure the sign on the fence of the nuclear storage says no drones $5000 fine. you might want to remove this video evidence?
Bradwell power station is a decommission I am flying outside the exclusion zone at the required distance away from building I'm not removing anything
Fly cessnas and pipers over here since 2017 when nuclear power station fully decommissioned.
Nice video 👍
