What do you do to prevent k8 from doing wheelies. I wanna put this set up in my k8 and I dont want it to be a wheelie machine. What do you suggest? Maybe change to lighter diff fluids or higher pinion gear. I own a Maxx and I got tired of the wheelies and decided to get k8 instead of Xmaxx because I don't like how easy it is for XMaxx to flip over .

The Blackjack is an excellent boat, I have one myself. I'm running 7200 80C's and getting an approximate top speed of 54 mph. Just a suggestion to reduce the "hopping" adjust your strut with about 1 to 2 mm of down angle. I have mine set with the rear part of the strut flush with the strut bracket and the front part of the strut about 1-1/2 mm sticking above strut bracket. You'll probably have to readjust height and angle with any prop changes. I changed the stock prop to an Octura X445 and my Blackjack runs completely flat in calm water conditions. Another recommendation which you're probably already aware is the dual water cooling lines. The ESC and motor will run a whole lot cooler with separate water lines. The pool noodles is a great idea, I'm gonna get some for my Blackjack tomorrow when I go to town. I've only flipped mine 2 times so far, 1st flip it landing upright, 2 flip not so lucky, had to get the canoe out, lol...
