    Just asking as a layman person, but about the metal corrosion in the water pumps: why not use fins made out of corrosion resistant plastic or polymer? Just curious so I asked. Thanks.

    Will this work if truck has excessive blow by? When you take my oil fill cap off smoke comes out and pushes the cap off some. Not a ton of pressure but enough to be concerned the pressure won’t allow oil to drain back in

    So synthetic/conventional blends are OK since they're engineered to work together? Just don't mix them yourself, correct? Thank you.

    Yep synthetic blends were mixed a certain way not just some random mixing on the side of the road or in your garage.

    i just found that "100%\fully synthetic" it doesn't mean nothing since the whole process is synthesizing 😆 man what a world we live in! so these fake "100%\fully synthetic" are group 3, & to be in group 4 "100%\fully synthetic" oils need to be around 80% synthetic, & the real 100% synthetic oils i think they are going to be in group 5 oils. if you don't believe me just search for Mobile suing Castrol in this matter. dont get me wrong i'm still using AMZOIL & other "100%\fully synthetic" oils because they are still good compared to cheap oils

    Some do it in the way you describe, but others like Chrysler actually watch the secondary current ramps after the firing event to see if the Sparkplug has discharged it correctly. That is why it won't say "Misfire" but instead "Incorrect Cylinder Ionization" And it will actually turn off the cylinder's spark and fuel injection to save it from damage.

    Hello I want to know which one you would recommend in my Harley Davidson Vtwin Motorcycle. The DOMINATOR® SAE 60 100% SYNTHETIC RACING OIL or SAE 60 100% SYNTHETIC V-TWIN MOTORCYCLE OIL. I don’t care about it being wet clutch compatible because I won’t be using it inside my Primary and also my transmission. I will solely be using this oil for the Engine ONLY. If you can give me some insight I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!!

    It makes me laugh when people do an Oil Analysis report and compare Amsoil to their "Shelf Oil" and say see, nothing special. What they don't realize is that the oil Analysis report doesn't show everything that makes Amsoil one of the best (if not the best) oil available today because it doesn't show "ALL" the magic in the bottle which Amsoil uses compared to "shelf oils". But that's the secret that keeps those who use Amsoil, life long users because of that difference which leads to the best performance. I've seen it for decades... Nothing but spotlessly clean engines even with long oil change intervals. That's Amsoil!

    The best best best oil out there in my opinion. I have used it since it has been available. 535,000 on my last engine before I scrapped it. Using 0 oil and leaking 0 oil. AMAZING!

    @@CedroCronDid you use 0w30 SS specifically? What were your oil change intervals , time and mileage when you did your changes?

  • @CedroCron
    @CedroCronАй бұрын

    @@markaruski I used Amsoil Signature Series 0w30 Yes. I used it after break-in in the engine (First 10K) until I scrapped the vehicle. I would do 10K oil change intervals due to convenience because running any longer would usually mean I'd be changing my oil in the winter and I wanted no part of that. So it would get changed in the fall, then again in the spring.

  • @CedroCron
    @CedroCronАй бұрын

    @@markaruski I should also Add that the lab said I could go longer but that was enough for me to justify the cost plus I was saving an additional 2-3 oil changes per year using M1 synthetic previous to this so I was fine with it.

    @@CedroCron Awesome, thanks for replying! I've been 20+ year Amsoil customer myself and am always interested in hearing the parameters of other Amsoil users and their stories! so changing oil more or paying hundreds of dollars for by-pass it may take out the particles but the additives break down dont they? i lost my trust with amsoils 25k gas filters, i went to about 10k miles and the oil was black as if it was in my 1970 chevy with dino oil. normally when i cange every 3-5k my oil is still clear on teh dipstic.. somehow i dont feel amsoil is telling the whole story. plus with the info on bypass filters....WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO GO TO 25K AND LOAD THE OIL WITH 50X THE AMOUNT OF DEBRIS BELOW 20 MICRONS? THAT DONT MAKE SENSE. ONLY THING THAT DOES. IS PUT TEH BYPASS FILTER ON, AND CHANGE THE OIL THE SAME. AND HAVE YOUR ENGINE LAST LONGER.

    The cooling system takes care of the highly inefficient combustion process that wastes the majority of the energy from fuel by way of heat instead of horsepower and torque. Only 30-40% of fuel burned is turned into mechanical power the rest turns into heat and you need a system to deal with that.
