    Interesting and fun to see. This Plymouth has Belvedere exterior trim with Savoy upholstery and interior trim. The four push button control for the transmission indicates the two speed Powerflite automatic so the engine probably was a 2 barrel carburetor 318V8 called the V800 that used regular gas and produced 225 hp.

  • @bobsclassiccarsparts8772
    @bobsclassiccarsparts8772Күн бұрын

    Yes it was a two barrel. The owner purchased a dual quad set up from EBay for it.

    I knew a guy that sweared by simple green. I think they all work very similar, but with hot water, a pressure washer or a hot water pressure washer you would get great results. I have used similar products on the inside of aluminum valve covers and oil pans and it has worked well

    Awesome find! This was my wife’s grandfather’s car (don gray) He bought it new in 57 out of roxboro nc He's told me all kinds of stories from him pulling a camper behind this car back in the late 50s and 60s all up and down the east coast and the Tennessee mountains. He still has the original title That shows he paid $2750 for it new ! He’s 93 now so he doesn’t drive it much but he still enjoys it from the passenger seat lol

    Ford for me, I have been drooling over that green ford truck sitting at Johns Garage for the last month or so. It was gone today when I passed by there. The 48,49.50 fords were all basically the same body style on the fords. There were only some slight differences in stake pocket on the bed sides. My dad had a 50 when I was a kid and I always wanted to have my own.

    Test them under pressure. Use a real aviation plug pressure tester and you'll find Champions stop jumping the gap and the spark will travel down the insulator at a much lower pressure than most other plugs. Without a real test using pressure all you have is old wives tales and antidotes.
