So, let me tell you about this hilarious trip I took to Allison, Texas, to look at houses. It was supposed to be a simple trip, but of course, it turned into a comedy of errors. First off, halfway there, I realized I left my map and GPS at home. Just my luck, right? So, I stopped at this gas station to ask for directions. The clerk was this friendly old guy with a thick Texas drawl, and I swear, I only understood half of what he said. But I figured, how hard could it be? By some miracle, I actually made it to Allison. But let me tell you, it was smaller than I imagined. Like, really small. I felt like the entire town could fit into a single house. The first house I went to looked great online. But when I got there, I was greeted by a goat on the porch. I tried to shoo it away, but it just bleated at me like it owned the place. So, I decided to let the goat have its porch and moved on. The next house was even more interesting. It had a "For Sale" sign and a note on the door saying, "Back in 10 minutes." I waited forever before this guy came jogging up. He apologized, saying he had just run to the store for some milk. I couldn't help but laugh and thought, "Only in a small town." Then there were a few more houses, each with its own quirks. One had a rooster that almost chased me, and another was completely decorated with Elvis memorabilia. By then, I was starting to think Allison wasn't for me. On my way back to Oklahoma, I got stuck in a traffic jam caused by a herd of cattle crossing the road. I had plenty of time to think about my day and just laughed at the absurdity of it all. By the time I got home, I knew one thing for sure: I had a bunch of funny stories to tell, even if I didn't find a house. And that's how my trip to Allison, Texas, turned out. No new home, but a ton of hilarious memories.
Hahaha, what a story! The things you see in small town Texas 😂
Video looks a bit rushed, interesting though
