  i was 12 years old when i qualify for a lampara boat job in marina di patti under the ownership of salvatore accetta and his 2 son battista and vincenzo and july 15 1949 it was my famous day tha i will remenber untill i live my mentor and theacher don nunzio he got sick that day and could be on board don salvatore came to me and asked me if i could hadle the job being alone my ansawer was yes withaut esitation it was my lucky nitebecause i got lot of anchovies under my 18 foot boat sofia and we got 7 tons of anchovies a record for the accetta famely they became rich sweet memory nel mare di patti marina
