First time a tried making 2 windows 1 big window i broke off the supporting metal under the window. So it looked like an upside U. But it worked and the piston held. But i was told be a shop owner that my piston was the worst he had seen. So maby i was lucky. =)

Hey Matt. Heat shrink sleeving is better than Deli-Belly-Bollocks thinks. It is cool stuff and not many people I’m guessing , wonders why it shrinks in Diameter but thankfully not in length a such. Take Care.

4:16:35 Here's my take on this loud exhausts thing: Guns also save lives, but we're not allowed to have them because they can be used to take lives. So how many lives do loud exhausts save and does that number justify how many people's lives are literally ruined, by douche bags blasting past their house every five minutes with full race pipes on? Because I'd rather it was quieter around here and have a few dead people because of it, than continue having to deal with these 125cc muppets, who have managed to make their toys louder than an 1900cc HD with open headers. _It's just obnoxious and unnecessary._

"Guns also save lives, but we're not allowed to have them because they can be used to take lives" 1) by takes them. Guns are, by design used to kill and maime people. Don't be stupid. "So how many lives do loud exhausts save and does that number justify how many people's lives are literally ruined, by douche bags blasting past their house every five minutes with full race pipes on? " - Define for me 2 things - what load is in dB and secondly how peoples lives are ruined. "125cc muppets, who have managed to make their toys louder than an 1900cc HD with open headers. " - You're clearly full of shit here, dB is a power measurement, guess what I'm going to say next

@@dirtygarageguy Don't be stupid, yourself. Taking a life to save your own is not a bad thing, it's perfectly reasonable. You were in the military, you know that guns save lives. This is taken from a government website, re. loud exhausts: _"The police can also take action if your vehicle’s silencer doesn’t work in the way it was designed or if you’re driving in a way that _*_creates too much noise._*_ "_ And this is taken from the Road Vehicles Regulations 1986 (which is UK law): _"Every exhaust system and silencer shall be maintained in good and efficient working order and _*_shall not be altered so as to increase the noise_*_ made by the escape of exhaust gases."_ And this was from some article somewhere on Google, which talks about the EU law we have to comply with: _Since 2016 the UK adopted EU regulation 2014/540, which set an initial noise limit of _*_72 decibels_*_ - actually around ten times quieter than the 1978 limit, since decibels use a logarithmic scale - and _*_this will go down to around 68 decibels_*_ by 2026, alongside revisions to the car noise test procedure to make it more accurate._ And this defines how loud a 125cc might be according to the AI used by the Brave web browser (which we all know is just a fancy search engine): _"A reasonable estimate _*_would be in the range of 84-110 dB, possibly even higher_*_ depending on the specific engine, exhaust system, and operating conditions."_ In answer to your question re. how many people are affected by this issue: _"Innovative noise cameras will provide evidence for police to take action against rowdy motorists, helping communities to enjoy peaceful public and residential spaces."_ It's enough people that they're making devices, so the police can crack down on it. Which makes me presume it's enough people that it's considered *an actual problem* by the government. And here's how it ruins people's lives (from an article found on Google): _"Research shows noise pollution can have significant impacts on physical and mental health for local residents - with *heart attacks, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and stress* all linked to long-term contact with loud environments. Excessive noise pollution can mean children struggle to get a good night’s sleep and hardworking people’s lives are made more stressful. *In England alone, the annual social cost of urban road noise was estimated to be up to £10 billion a decade ago.* This is the total economic cost of exposure to noise pollution, including lost productivity from sleep disturbance and health costs from heart attacks, strokes and dementia."_ Is that OK for you? Answered your questions there, Matt? _And don't be facetious, Matt. You know full well my comment about HD's with open headers was hyperbole._ You do know what hyperbole is, right? lol It was plainly hyperbole. No one makes a comment so obviously ludicrous that's meant to be taken at face value. Tune in, bud. It's not hard. Stop insulting my intelligence, it's an embarrassing look for you. _An Englishman who doesn't understand hyperbole... What next? No grasp of sarcasm?_

"Taking a life to save your own is not a bad thing, it's perfectly reasonable. You were in the military, you know that guns save lives." - Don't assume what I think. Putting yourself in a situation where you need firearms to defend yourself when you didn't need to isn't a 'good' thing or saving lives. Take Iraq for example. We shouldn't have been there, so any 'saving' is not a good thing, but the situation demands it, if you wanna save lives. This isn't even the same game as exhaust pipes. "This is taken from a government website, re. loud exhausts: "The police can also take action if your vehicle’s silencer doesn’t work in the way it was designed or if you’re driving in a way that creates too much noise. "" - So? Hopefully there's a point here? "It's enough people that they're making devices, so the police can crack down on it. Which makes me presume it's enough people that it's considered an actual problem by the government." - So now compare being hit by a vehicle vs noise pollution. You're also making a bad faith comment, also known as being a tard. I have stated what is too loud vs whatever youre crying about. It's in this very live stream. ""Research shows noise pollution can have significant impacts on physical and mental health for local residents - with heart attacks, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and stress all linked to long-term contact with loud environments." - Source? "Is that OK for you? Answered your questions there, Matt?" No, it hasn't 1) how much of noise pollution is bikes? 2) How loud are we talking, I've already stated what I mean. 3) Who are you arguing with? Yourself? "And don't be facetious, Matt. You know full well my comment about HD's with open headers was hyperbole. You do know what hyperbole is, right? lol " - Prick comment, like the guy in this livestream. "Stop insulting my intelligence, it's an embarrassing look for you." - But you're being dumb. Are you arguing against what I said is a expected amount of noise? Do you even know what I said? If you disagree, that what is too loud? I have a limit, I've stated what it is. Is it that you actually disagree with? You've spent a lot of time pasting shit that doesn't make a point.

4:09:15 Arguing that noisy cars drown out electric cars and that's why we can't hear them, sucks as an argument. People can't hear bicycles approaching _in a park_ either. Is that because ICE cars exist? No, it's because human physiology makes us pretty rubbish at hearing things approaching from behind. _Especially if you're not paying attention._

Those PA6 tanks are shite, they swell due to absorbing moisture from the air. This makes them not fit after a few years. Every Aprilia since the RSV Mille suffer from this. Probably don't want to use PP or HDPE because of painting difficulties...

I've thought about this and you could use 2 different tubes and run them similar to a dohc system running down the length of the engine with gears to spin at 1/4 the crank speed so the "cam tunnels" allow air/ fuel to enter every half rotation but exhaust may need a different gear to allow for a compression stroke

That blanking thing on the tank is where the fuel level sender would go, at least on the UK and European models. Not sure why his one doesn't have it. Maybe the US models don't have a fuel gauge (i.e. one with bars) and just rely on the reserve light (which has a separate sensor I believe). Also the "gyro cutout" is for the Bosch IMU that's used for the various rider aids. And no, that rear cowl isn't the pillion seat. It's just a cowl. They come with a separate pillion pad which can go in its place instead. RSV4 and RSV4 Factory are essentially identical, except the Factory comes with forged wheels and semi-active suspension.

UJM is a term; as some commented it's basically the format of general purpose bigger Japanese bikes in the '70s/'80s before bikes become more specialized (presumably it's a predominately Amercian term). However, the XJR1300 isn't really a UJM - and Del's Universal Japanese "Muscle-bike" take is a pure Del-ism (aka a misunderstanding on his part). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Japanese_Motorcycle
