  Your story about police checking personal items is true. In London the customs man in Dover assumed I had hash in a small wooden box that I bought as a souvenir in Barcelona. He couldn't have been more wrong. Less than six months later that omen turned tables when I did happen to have a little bit of wake me up grass when I waa back home. The lesson: If you buy anything share it until it is all gone then hang out. Now the laws have changed but attitudes are not such an easy thing to reverse to another's favor instead.

  "I don't think it was an easy listen." Me: I heard Galaxie for the first time when I was in my last year of high school in the 2000s and proceeded to play it over and over again. Also Me: I listened to Mouthful of Cavaties, Skinned, Dumptruck and Toes Across The Floor months into my first year of college and played it over and over and over again. Me NOW: I bought Soup and listened to it over and over again, with 2X4, God's Seat and Lemonade being absolute bangers.

  I've watched this like 15 times, and I genuinely laugh out loud every time I hear these two joking about the line: "De Capo. That's a huge one! I mean, I've heard of it." Never fails.   I've never heard a more obnoxious, annoying interviewer in my life. Dumb loud booming voice that constantly interrupts this interesting guest. The only interviewer that interrupts more is Paul Schaffer over Donald Fagen. F*ck.

  i'm up in kamloops bc, and the high desert starts here and goes all the way to northern california, it's called the great basin and is the same boring landscape all the way down. look at cities like kamloops, penticton, vernon, spokane, and eastern province and state cities and they all look the same.
