    Hello madam. Can you please tell me. For what reason we should should put steam up for bottom stace lines and below steam for upper. Stave lines?

    The imperial march is a good example to use its so simple you can also think of melody as single notes played like a guitar solo or a vocal and the harmony being the chord structure or notes in unison

    Pretty good! Though, this is only half of the explanation. Sharps, flats, and naturals aren't necessarily accidentals… they are only accidentals when they're notes OUTSIDE of the given key signature. Since this video only shows us examples of notes with no sharps/flats in the key signature, it could potentially lead one to the false conclusions that sharps/flats/naturals are considered "accidentals" 100% of the time. F# in the key of G Major, for example, is NOT an accidental, but F natural IS.

    Good video, maybe trying speaking a little slower. Would you consider uploading a video where you play the same piece with the terms (ex allegro, largo) in the music music?

    Maybe I missed something, but you explain what a melody is, but then mention harmony and play the Star Wars theme, but don't actually explain which part is the harmony in that song. So you've shown what a melody is by playing Moon River, but don't actually point out the harmony notes in Star Wars. Why not?

    I’d suggest not defining musical terms with Other musical terms bc if someone doesn’t know what harmony or melody is, they don’t know what pitch or Rythm is either so you end up rushing through pitch or rhythm which leads to weak understanding of everything

  • @alicesenz6374
    @alicesenz63745 ай бұрын

    I disagree to an extent, I think most people know what pitch is and I felt her explanation of rhythm was good. People can also check out videos on what rhythmn is if they're confused.

  • @phd1980LA
    @phd1980LA5 ай бұрын

    that sort of proves my point. you end up needing to check out more videos to learn what other videos are saying. What if pitch in her other videos references more terms. leads to a hall of mirrors. And i asked 10 people what pitch was in this context and got five different answer.s. @@alicesenz6374

    Hi there! 1st or unison is when two notes are exactly the same note. Whereas 8ve, is when two notes are 8 steps apart (in letter names) e.g. C4 - C5 they are both having the same letter names but in different register. I hope I’ve solved your confusion
