The fact that he doesn't show much emotion in Like Crazy because the song is about losing yourself in the fun of partying and just pretending to have fun, but you really feel none of that inside. The whole album is about Jimin's emotions during covid and that he didn't have the healthiest way of dealing with it (I don't think it was drugs though, because that is a gigantic no-no in Korea - like even accusations of that ruin careers over there, so it's no joke; most likely it was alcohol and maybe partying once restrictions eased up, possibly an unhealthy relationship). He just mentioned he went a little crazy and that he's out of it now.

If you want to get to know the boys more, I'd recommend watching Run BTS, their own variety show. You can find all episodes on KZread on their BangtanTV channel or on Weverse. 😊 Compilation videos almost exclusively contain footage of Run BTS and sometimes spoil episodes or sometimes you don't understand the context of scenes. However if you do want to watch compilation videos, then go to the channel "sugarmyy". She does great and funny videos and explains the context of the scenes in little notes on the screen! You are correct, that J-Hope was inspired by J. Cole, and in fact they met each other at Lollapalooza 2022, where each of them performed their own shows. He was able to tell J. Cole that he was his Muse, and they made a collaboration together later called Hope On The Street. It was J-Hope’s “see you later”song dedicated to ARMY Just prior to his enlisting in the South Korean Army. Also, yes BTS has lore they call the Bangtan Universe, or the BU for short. It is a series of stories , themes, art, literature, and concepts which run throughout a good portion of their songs, lyrics, MVs , content, games, a Webtoon, and other things created by the group. It is pretty involved, and there is a lot of theory which ARMY has studied pertaining to their messages.
