  I was wondering where this was. I lived and worked in a nice part of Stockholm (Ostermalm) for 2.5 years and my first year there, I came out of FMV and my bike was no longer there. After talking to security and police in the area, they will tell you it is the EASTERN EUROPEANS who are doing it. It happens a lot and very sophisticated. Im glad to see you caught the culprit. Sweden will always hold a place in my heart.

  Yay for you! Found mine stolen in Australia after first deciding to snatch it back, but then seeing the guy on my bike and his homwless mates around, decided to be quite 'intrusive' with my repeated advances to local police giving them pings within minutes repeatedly. In the end they were great and the bije was recovered from the courtyard of a building complex they all hung out at 😊

  Someone at work stole my iPhone and I used a friends phone to locate it and I knocked on the door and it was a maid from work… busted! Then I called the police to tell them the story and they could close the case that I solved myself because they were not going to do anything about it apart from opening a file for my insurance. What insurance?… this is Virginia police for you. Maybe he couldn’t get up after all those donuts he ate for breakfast…

  @@MK-Tech Some 20 years ago a listened to a talk about GPS technology when that was pretty new. The speaker mentioned a case with a GPS tagged "EU-moped" which had been stolen (don't know the correct English term). It was eventually found in a barn in Dalecarlia ("Dalarna") and when the Police got there they found 40 more (untagged) "EU-mopeds" there....

  It could be a good idea for every decent cyclist NOT a SCUMBAG THIEF!!!! to have at least one for their wheels. Regardless of country. Bicycles can be very expensive. & to have it stolen can be very upsetting to many. For those who have one for work aswell as leisure.

  The problem begins with a device as ridiculously simple as a bicycle with an electric motor costing six bloody grands. You get real vehicles that will take you around the world for that kind of money, not these short lived toys.

  I’m so glad you got your bike back. Here in U.K. the police wouldn’t have even came out.
