    So, within the volume occupied by the universe, we see stars and blackholes colliding galaxies, clusters of galaxies colliding too, what is the possibility of bubble universes forming so close together, that as inflation and expansion occur, they get absorbed into one another, could this explain these concentric rings present in the cmb?

    Correct, Inflation was before the Grand Expand. Inflation of Dielectric energy, terminate to terminate. Then, Dielectric energy crystallized into Dielectric voidence field/Magnetism. This is why the Universe is homogeneous. The Scalable Aether Universe was expanded after the grand expand of Dielectric energy.

    I think this is definitely one of the better CCC talks. Dr. Penrose, (IMO), has a tendency to speak in ways where sometimes, it's a little hard to follow the 'phrases and sentences' in his spoken 'paragraphs', and taken together with his habit of sometimes switching slides back and forth quickly as he speaks 'off the cuff', he can be hard to follow. THIS talk, (IMO), he really 'hits his stride', and aside from a little problem with showing slides toward the very end, the entire talk is VERY well paced, and well served by his transparencies and other graphics.

    The most important Good News and Truth everyone should know in this life on earth or anywhere in or outside the universe is The Gospel of Jesus Christ: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lJdoqpVuhczZndY.html From the Bible John (The Gospel of John) Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. Joh 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. Joh 1:4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. Joh 1:7 He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. Joh 1:8 He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. Joh 1:9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, yet the world did not know Him. Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. Joh 1:12 But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. Joh 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. From the Bible Colossians Col 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, Col 1:2 To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father. Col 1:3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, Col 1:4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints, Col 1:5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel, Col 1:6 which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and growing- as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth, Col 1:7 just as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf Col 1:8 and has made known to us your love in the Spirit. Col 1:9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, Col 1:10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Col 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. Col 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, Col 1:14 in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation. Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities- all things were created through Him and for Him. Col 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Col 1:18 And He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent. Col 1:19 For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, Col 1:20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross. This is heavy going, not because of any complexity in the content of ideas but because Dr Sandberg has not learnt how to speak English like an educated English person. Is he aware of this? Has anyone pointed this out to him before? What effort has he made to learn to communicate more fluently? Does he want to? Perhaps he doesn't. I suggest that he turns his attention to studying why his mind is not open to the possibility of adopting the speech patterns of English.

I don't have a physics background, so it's hard for me to understand. I'll watch more talks by Sir Roger on KZread and I'm sure to get a better understanding. I love the fact that his CCC does not point to a singular point. I also really like the explanation for the circular patterns found being clumping resulting from supermassive black hole collisions, if I've got that right.

    The laws of nature were invented by man to explain observations. Beyond that there is a more technical answer along the lines of "geometry + relativity + a quantization condition = pretty much everything we see", but that argument gets highly technical once we get into the field quantization part. To understand it you will have to study five to eight years of physics full time. :-)

    Halton Arp found a lot of evidence that red-shift is not caused simply by the doppler effect. Some observations of quasars also imply that red-shift can be intrinsic to young star formation. Imagine that! If we misunderstand red-shift then there could be profound consequences for all of big-bang cosmology. Look it up, folks. Have fun getting your mind around it.

    Imagine someone comes up to you and proposes that there's this undiscovered species in a nearby forest. "Clearly," they say, "if we can show that the droppings of this species exist, we can conclude that this species must exist." You ask them what those droppings should be expected to look like. "It's not important what precisely they look like," they admonish, "only whether they can be found to exist in the first place." Still trying to figure out how to help with this search, you press on and ask what sort of animal this new species is, hoping to at least narrow down where to look for the droppings. "I admit I don't really know what sort of animal it is, but that can be looked into after we've established that it exists." At this point, you likely walk away in frustration, but if you stay, this person will only continue to reiterate how important it is to find evidence of this species while consistently dancing around any attempt to discern what such evidence would actually look like. This is a metaphor. You are the actual experimental physicists looking for quantum gravity, and the wanna-be biologist is Dr. Marletto. Of course, it's not just one mystery species being conjectured, but an entire way of thinking about how discovering new species should work, and how amazing this new way of thinking is, and surely it will do better than the methods currently in use. In short, I'm disappointed that so many people are falling for this, and I think it makes a good illustration of how esoteric physics has become that people equate "I'm not sure I understand what you just said" with "that must be high level physics". Sometimes you don't understand what was said because what was said actually was just nonsense.

    Prof. Atkins is setting as an axiom that something can come from nothing. Philospophical there is no real difference between an axiom and a religious dogma. In both cases one is not allowed to ask why that is possible. What worries me more is that he says one can divide zero into parts. Because "seperation" means nothing more than division. I wonder what my math teacher would have said if I wrote down something like "0 divided by x equals..." Normally if you divide stuff into parts each part should be less than what it was made from. So everything we see in this universe should be in reality less than nothing if it was made from nothing ... but don't wonder how this is possible, because sometimes physics is counterintuitive but atheism is by definition always sane!

    This is my favourite Penrose lecture. One question, I get that with the expansion of the universe, that eventually black holes will be hotter than the surrounding space time, and therefore, according to the 2nd law of thermodynamics, they should start radiating. It makes perfect sense for what we know of physics, traditional systems etc. But, given that our current understanding of physics breaks down at singularities, such as the type in a blackhole, is it proven, that the 2nd law applies? How can we apply current physics, to a system, where physics breaks down? I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain that to my dumb brain. Thx, and Roger, you rock!

  • @schmetterling4477
    @schmetterling44773 жыл бұрын

    There is no singularity inside black holes. Every black hole is made of matter, it's just matter in an extremely deep gravitational well. The second law is simply the definition of temperature. What Roger Penrose says here is, in classical terms, a rescaling of temperature. What to us is extremely cold will become extremely hot to the inhabitants of the next eon.
