Couldn't they have taken the shoes off the child before putting them on the bed? The watch on the wrist really helps to scratch the patient.
@hildy20828 күн бұрын
@@VictoriaShcherbyna Not sure why the shoes matter, it is her choice when to take the shoes off and that’s just how she likes it. The watch has never scratched her, but when I first got it, it did accidentally dial 911. That was embarrassing. Scarlet is 21 now, a grown woman and doesn’t hesitate to let me know her preferences and when something is uncomfortable.

Why are you using this the word “patient” rather than the more empowering client or wheelchair user?

Because we were searching for instructional videos for the lift and only finding ones made for nurses and patients. We were hoping that this would find the healthcare providers that need to see it.

@hildy208 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay, I just noticed this comment. The brand is Prism Medical. We bought it through Norco, but they’re widely available online. Norco installed it for us, but in our area Norco doesn’t install the lifts any longer. What they did is install the track right into weight bearing beams in the ceiling then we arranged her bedroom around that. Luckily it worked out perfectly. In our old house there were no beams where we needed them so the process was more involved, going into the attic space and adding supports.
