I get to know Up because of Ming in My Stand-in. He did a great job. I really wish UpPoom can cooperate on new series and projects since they two have excellent acting skills, and obviously both are gorgeous.

Up's closest industry friend is Foei. They still interacts regularly and Foei is first name that'd come up first when you ask Up about his "friends". Most recent interaction is when Foei came over to celebrate Justin's birthday (Great also came over). There's also a GoyNattyDream interview where Max, Foei and Up are interviewed together because they're a close trio of friends.

I am drawn to UP because of his versatility as an actor and his ability to fully commit to a role and transmit that on to the screen effectively. As Gene in Lovely Writer, he was great but as Ming in My Stand In he was phenomenal. That character was challenging to play. Ming was an emotional roller coaster that made me hate him intensely then turn right around and love him with the same intensity!

I think Up is an incredible actor, especially after seeing him as Ming. Obviously, I don't believe that every actor in the world aspires to Hollywood, but IF Up has that desire, he's one of a couple of Thai actors I think could make that jump, along with Phuwin. They're both incredible actors with excellent English skills and not much of an accent. I mean, Phuwin already kinda made the jump with that game character he voiced. But if they both stay in Thailand, I'll be equally happy to continue watching their work!

I have always admired him for his intelligence and his attitude towards life... Listening to him again after years is so nice... I missed him so much when he went to USA

I wanna say that he was a casting child since 11 year-old. He went casting with his mom, and he played in commercial before acting as a guest role in tv. He also in musical stage in “the sound of music” he is one of the children in that. I recently knew this from following deeply Edit: Neo Pond and Phuwin were in the live house together in the first season

I can see why they had trouble keeping straight faces on set. They seem like the kind of people who will keep themselves and others entertained all day if left on their own for any significant length of time. Thank you for interviewing them.

Is Ming redeemable? I think he might be, but he is NOT redeemed in my eyes by the end of the series. I think he is a *user* who treats people like objects. Sure this is because he grew up with immense privilege, but that's not an excuse. I think he is a legitimately bad person, who just happened to fall in love. Like TharnType I think this series depicts a relationship that is not healthy, but is functional. Who would I recast in these roles? I have really been wanting to see Fourth Nattawat take on a meaty and not so good role, so I think I might want to see him as Ming. Joss Wayar might be interesting as Tong, but then who would be good stand-in? Ahh .. Luke Ishikawa.

Yay a Series Sunday! I loved My Stand In I starting reading the novel while the show was airing. I have not finished the book but felt the show did an excellent job. It’s in my top 10. I would rewatch. I would love a special episode or two, not sure there is enough for a full second season. The behind the scenes clips are so fun to watch.
