Ultimate is the way to go. Tons more value, especially with the full game pass catalog. I would stay away from Core if you can.

I woud say even if you have to scrimp and save up to get a xbox, just ride it out a bit longer and get the series x. Even though the series s is a cheaper entryway it's really meant to be a additional system in the home. Getting the series x gives you a 12 vs 4 TFLOPS in processing power due to more processing cores in the gpu, it's more than just a lack of the disk drive and less storage its a big cut in performance. If you're on a budget get the series x. It will last you longer-term and with the disk drive you get access to the used market for cheaper games and backwards compatibility that'll stretch your dollars even further. Not to even mention that it looks better and performs better graphically. I started out with a series s 512 Gb 2 weeks ago and even after buying a 5Tb external drive to make room for more than 3 game's and then you still have to move them between the drive and the system. I returned the series s for the x last week and I am glad i did now that the rumor is no more physical copies for games.

Great video and review - I think the UI and general interface is pretty good and very convenient. I also love how quiet the console is!! I think I’ll keep. It’s a step-up from my PS4 for sure and doesn’t seem to be too far behind the Series X.

Apples website doesn't tell you what version of iOS the refurbished ones have. I guess to call Apple and find out. I'd prefer Ventura over Monterey because Apple will support Ventura longer. I'm pretty sure they don't have the latest iOS Sonoma.

I was wondering if you would know if a USB 2.0 flash drive is compatible with a new MacBook Air or Pro? Would I need to use an adapter? I have a lot of files I need on several 2.0 flash drives.

@@wilpotocki2453 Good question. Your Flash Drive is likely USB-A. The cord connected to it and the MacBook Air/Pro will require one end to be USB-C or else you will require an adapter if both sides of the cord are USB-A.

The fact its a digital download game DOES NOT make it a better value. Yeah its a $60 game because nintendo never lowers the prices of their games like PC/Steam, Playstation, and Xbox do with all of their games. The game would be $20 on any other platform by now digital or physical. Also as I said this is for a digital code not a physcial copy and with nintendo's track record they'll shut down the digital store. For the $60 price tag you can buy a physical version to actually own, share with, sell or whatever. Its doesn't even come with any of the DLC. You also still have to buy the other stuff like an Micro SD card because the memory is still on the low end. A second pair of joycons because the drift on these are always a never ending issue. Then a pro controller to play most games better. Then all the full priced games at $60 a pop...I regret getting a switch and this new OLED unboxing just made me annoyed I even wanted one in the first place with how much robbery there was after that. I'm just saving up for a gaming PC instead and sailing the seven seas and emulating nintendo stuff.

It won't remote play with the PS4 though you can use it for PS4 games through PS5. 16. Screen is LCD only, not OLED like PS Vita, Switch OLED, and Steam Deck OLED. 17. It doesn't had its own UI or memory storage so you won't be able to add anything native to take on the go with you on this. 18. You can't use it as a monitor either, the PS Portal could be play using its own given controls on the handheld. 19. Though it could turn on your PS5 while at home, it can't turn on your PS5 from far away. The PS Portal remote signal is only short distance so you must leave your PS5 to sleep if you plan to play it elsewhere. 20. You could use it as a second console so if you go to your friend's house and they own a PS5 but only have a game that you don't like such as Spider-Man 2, you could always play the ones you do love such as Elden Ring on your PS Portal at their house through their WiFi network. 21. You could play other people's PS5 on this, just had it connect to their PS5 with your account and their permission and game on. As long as they never touch their PS5, you could play anything from it on this.

I have really enjoyed this device. Back when I used backbone + iPhone, the game always stuttered and resolution was poor - likely due to connectivity issues. The portal has been a flawless remote play experience so far

I bought the portal when i found out i can play it outside anywhere being a night time carer i can now play games all night at work. So this has been a win win situation for me but for me.
