  American style crab and shrimp they serve cold then add sauce to overcome the fishy taste from cold seafood. It is too bad they don't serve it hot but that doesn't scale as easily for large crowds.

  Fresh seafood shouldn't be fishy lol The 'sauce' (in this case Mayo, Lea & Perrin Worcestershire, Lemon juice, S&P) isnt overpowering and compliments the crab Claws. Have you ever been to places like Joe's Stone Crab? Where do you recommend for fresh (hot or cold) seafood/shellfish?

  The Fontainebleau got bad press when they first opened but IMO you need to visit to experience the hotel to see that they have quite a bit to offer.

  I ate here last week and the Peking Duck was major disappointment in my opinion. Only provided total of 8 crepes/buns and they made wrap themselves rather than plating the duck like you show in the video so it was just two wraps per person and alot of duck leftover that was pretty inedible the way they cut it. I have a non-fancy Peking Duck place in Austin called Bamboo House and it serves a Half-Duck for $30 that was far superior to either Jasmine or Blossom.

  Hello @igloozoo3771 Headed to Austin next month so thanks for the recommendation on Bamboo House. Sorry to hear about your experience, we've been there many times and they have always served it tableside and have been consistently good. As you noted, there is quite a large portion when ordering Peking Duck so next time ask them to do it '2-ways'. They will serve the skin with the buns like normal and then take the rest of the meat for duck lettuce wraps. What I find in lower end Chinese places, the duck is usually too greasy due to excessive fat. Nicer places use a higher quality duck. But it is amazing that hole in the wall local places can do an amazing Peking Duck without a day in advanced notice and keep it reasonably priced.

  The skin was crispy and the meat was very tender. Has the tea smoked duck style flavor. The pancake/bun was very good. They do have roasted duck if thats more to your liking.

  @@DrMingWoo I never been to Hawaii :-) I used to work in airline industry n travel first class all time n usually they give high class dishes and Japanese wasn’t really my cup of tea . It’s healthy n longevity for sure but so is other Asian dishes .

Since you havent been to Hawaii but was in the airline industry, you probably know some of the hotels are in remote areas so your dining options are limited. What airline in your experience of high class dishes stood out? Which airline (even with bias if you worked for them) do you consider great?

  @@DrMingWoo I personally likes United airline first class 😃 but quite honestly things have changed since I quit . I personally likes to go on cruisline when I’m on vacations . I think that more bangs for your bucks as there so many things to do during cruise and to destinations just wish we can stayed longer though than just a few hours 😆 I don’t mind at all if I were to go Hawaii on cruise line I think you get more for your trip then fly there as things there can be quite expensive

  When I travel I don’t like long car rides to my destination 😂 I rather eats 🐷 n sleeps my way there n back but that just me . I think most peoples who go on cruises prefer that method then a flight ✈️ there . Local businesses make more money w cruiseline then ✈️ as most can be backpackers
