In short, Tommy ‘n’ Jacob’s Mix Tape is a podcast where we review films and discuss other forms of media entertainment.
But, we asked ourselves: Why do we watch movies and/or engage in other forms of media? The answer, or answers, could go on and on. We reminisce for a feeling of nostalgia. We search for a way to escape. We crave a great adventure. We desire that one great love. We peer into the darkness for our darkest fears. For some it is simple, for some more complex. For most it is just pure entertainment. Sometimes we try to explore films and media attempting to figure out what draws us to them, and them to us.
From years and years of conversation, an idea was formed. A podcast. A podcast where we talk about all the things we love and enjoy. So we have finally banded together to make our movie and media lover podcast.

I just went back and finished Horizon Zero Dawn and HZD: Forbidden West and I gotta say, playing them one after the other was really fascinating for taking in the story. It’s worth the effort to get through the games. Story is one that really tugs at you and makes ya think about the future of humanity. Especially with the rise of AI in our world right now. As far as games I went back on, RDR2. I was like 25% in, stopped for 4 years and then picked it back up last month and it was a grand time. What a game that is
