such a stupendous explanation, with an increadible way to weave words. really liked the aspect about the black & white color scheme - how it foretells the binary between the police and the residents - yet their complexities can be found in the "gradient" in between. you are clearly very good at this. please continue!

i rarely comment videos but this one definitely deserves some appreciation! the montage was superb and the commentary was super insightful, i found it to be the perfect balance between educational, interesting and dynamic, especially the final academic part was great. i was sad to see you haven't posted any other videos as you said you would though;(, i hope everything's going good for you and maybe one day i will come across a new video essay from your channel

really good essay/videoessay, I am on the process of making an essay myself in where I talk about the urban representation of La Haine in comparison to a Greek film of comparable style. Both your video and your biblipography will be of great help! Thanks for sharing :)

As a side note: it would be really helpful if you put your bibliography in the description if you want to share the academic resources where you have gotten your inspiration/information from,, I find most videoessayist never do this and I believe it could be an amazing addition :)
