They forgot to mention in the end that the sparks mean the blade is struggling and the more it cuts the hotter it gets. I bet there are no teeth left on that saw blade and it wouldn't be able to make a third cut.
Rebar will stop them in their tracks. They are usually using nail embedded wood blades which are trash for metal.

Rebar is at the end 4.20 and yes it cuts it, it's the blades the saws are much of a muchness

Go for it! Theives aren't looking for something that might slow them down. Find anything hardened steel. They're looking for the quick score. We've seen them abandon their tools at our facilities in Houston as well and they weren't using quality blades. Think stolen/cheap walmart blades.

Justin Dallas I just bought the recip blades and a 60 tooth for my Makita drop saw too. Looking at these as a replacement for my know dead flexvolt blade.

if i have a new tool i handle always with care for a long life. Like it, when Tools after a long time looks like new. The last thing i would do, is to throw it from the roof or drive with my truck over 🙄🙄😂😂😂😉

1:52 I hate it when people do this on videos and call it a test. Locking out the chucks and holding the trigger only overloads the electronics. This is in no way a realistic test as no one would ever do this while using them. Every drill will overload and burn up while doing this so it proves absolutely nothing. It's just a waste of a good tool.
I would disagree for the people that actually use their tools. I've had my drill pinch my hand against something so that I could not release the trigger. The motor protection kicked in and shut the tool down. I would say this probably doesn't happen often but still a great idea.
