This project started in April 2020 during the UK's first lockdown, specifically for my Nephew Albert, to show him how Slot Car track goes together and some design ideas he can try out. It's since revising this content (December 2020) our fun has become a much loved project by an extended, international, amazing Slot Car Community. Thanks all Track Fans everywhere and as always, no apologies for shouting, randomness or general nonsense - act your shoe size, not your age!!

@@zacariasfangueiro4073hey bud, we would've loved to have been trackside but two things, first there's no space to fit the three of us and the tech kit next to it without being in the way and secondly, the race coverage from @electricdreams was World class so, we didn't want to compete with that so, we just had a chat for a change 😉

Hello mate, have a great race tomorrow, very envious! Can you do me a favour please and ask the team what they use for the lane colour on the Polisario track. They’ve done the same as us at the Viking track between the rails, but the colour always looks unmarked. Thanks Darren 👍

Gday Pete. In answer to your question about the best time Travis got, it was a 6.617 in the main race on yellow lane. From last years ten hour odd Electric Dreams live race coverage Travis was racing from about the 3hr 46 minute mark and the race record on yellow had been set near the start of racing and had not been touched by all the racing for hours. So it was quite an achievement of Travis breaking that record. However his record did not last too much longer as the top qualifiers progressed through the racing. I seem to remember Travis qualified in 31st position and came 42nd in the final rankings. I have put some timestamps on last year's race Livestream from Electric Dreams to help you find these times and placings. Your 6.7 sec lap in practice is very good and you may beat Travis with his 42 and 31 and a 6.617. Although Travis was helped by the previous years eventual race winner and a second placing in 2023, Rick Jocham , loaning him one of his reserve cars. Thanks for your coverage of the event.
@@johnd8892 mate, sorry for a delay in coming back to you. This is amazing data, thank you so much! I qualified in 51st place on 7.3 something so about the lower end of my average from practice which was between 6.9 - 7.3, the cars are slower this year apparently and I forgot to clean my tyres before the race but, on the live stream myself, Massimo and rail will chat through how it went and what happened because I should've done a couple of things before the race which, affected my times however, tomorrow, I won't be making that mistake. Thanks again, that comment was exceptional! 💯🔥🔥🔥
